hibana thinks she's rather nice so far and probably one of the people she will ask questions about stuff since hibana knows very little about the world. she also think she's pretty! but so far, that's it when it comes to hikaru since they've only threaded a couple of times!

hibana adores nai to pieces. ~~i can see her getting a puppy crush on him too but if she's older or something idk~~ and she enjoys spending time with him and doing stuff with him and holding his haaaaannnd. she thinks he's the proper gentlemen and she enjoyed him being her little sheep. <3

she wants to get to know him better most definitely so she will be speaking to him more and more and more. though with hibana, that can also be a slight bad thing. the more she adores something, the more protective she becomes and you become her preeecciiiioouuussssssssssssss......

shizuo - izaya
shizuo hates izaya, he's the scum of the earth, the worst kind of person, definitely no friend to him or anyone else he knows. he actively looks forward to the daily seek and destroy they have going on, it's almost like stress relief having a human punching bag he doesn't have to worry about injuring because he simply does not care if the bastard gets hurt; in his mind izaya is an expendable resource for him to beat on -- it helps that he's aggravating and as slippery as an eel, it only fuels his anger and makes him into that monster both of them despise. but he also needs him, you know why, but i'll tell you anyway.

izaya is the only constant in his life that is not afraid or intimidated by his curse -- izaya strengthens every doubt in his mind, every self-conscious thought, the flea bolsters every one of his fears, knows he's a coward who can't cope with things due to his volatile temper and his short fuse. but izaya is one of the elements in his life that drives him to get stronger so he can better control himself; like saika (without the love), the louse makes him want to be able to control himself so he won't hurt others around him, only the people who deserve it and the people who disturb ikebukuro's peace. if he was finally rid of izaya, there would be a massive hole unable to be filled, because that's where he pours his hatred -- he wouldn't have anywhere to dump it! izaya is the trash can for all of his rage! everything bad that happens in shizuo's life is "that flea's fault".

he hates izaya and needs izaya, it's a destructively symbiotic relationship, because izaya needs him just as much; without shizuo, there would be no monsters left for him to hate and the informant needs that lovely balance in his life, don't you think? they're constantly at each other's throats, saying they hate hate hate one another, but you know what they say. there's a very thin line between hate and love. not to say he does love him, but loathing one another so powerfully is as close a feeling as they're ever going to get to that sentiment.

i've forgotten a lot of shit, but i could go on all day and i still need to get to hiruma, so we'll gush about this over skype later yes.

hiruma - izaya
hiruma is a very perceptive person, he can tell already that izaya's not some half-baked opponent he can freely taunt and mock; he knows that by knowing izaya, there will be repercussions in the future. but overall, he's curious about him. geniuses have to analyze and that's exactly what he's been trying to do -- from stalking the guy's text messages to planning a meeting for them in the future, hiruma is going to definitely try to cover all of his bases. he is never unprepared and he feels upon meeting izaya that the man needs many contingency plans.

he's also irritated that izaya has the gall to insult his sport without any evidence or reason why. not that he'd ever let that be known. i can tell they're in for a long, grueling rivalry; whoever's information exceeds the other's will be the winner and it'll be an impressive race. he'd like to get to know him better, though; it's always nice to have someone intelligent around he can have a witty conversation with. it keeps him polished, keeps him prepared!

hiruma - robert
he hates him, oh my god. from their very first meeting, he could tell they would have a very nice time jumping at one another's throats. robert's a smart, unpredictable man; from that paranoia to his steel-trap mind, he's tries to stay on top of where he is at any given moment and is aware he needs to take as many precautions as possible if he doesn't want to be shot point-blank again, something that will not happen again while he's on his a-game. he despises the fact that he was fucking duped when robert tried out for football -- this still pisses him off, it's a grudge he's not going to let go anytime soon -- and it burns his ass even more that he had so much potential. damn him!!!

robert, however, has garnered a lot of respect; being as fast and strong as the bodyguard is -- the perfect balance he looks for in carefully chosen teammates -- and the fact that he has a work ethic above and beyond most of the other people he's met, hiruma can't help but hold a grudging appreciation for the way he operates. robert has talents he's honed since he was little (lol thanks to his crazy dad apparently) and he doesn't give up easily. hiruma's undying curiosity to figure out what makes the man tick is what drives him to keep frequent contact with him in hopes he'll unravel something even more interesting about him, but he's not about to go poking around in the guy's past, that's for idiots who can't keep their minds in the present.

all in all, hiruma would benefit greatly from his friendship -- it may be a back-breaking process and a long fucking road, but he's determined to at least duck under the assassination radar; hiruma's not very good with feelings and expressing himself, so it may be in a roundabout, convoluted way, but eventually he'll succeed in becoming a constant in robert's daily life. and getting him to join daily practices when he's certain the football isn't rigged with explosives. bffles.

hiruma - wocky
pfffffffffffffft oh shit he broke his arm that one time didn't he? hiruma thinks wocky is a scream -- he reminds him so much of his friends jumonji, kuroki and toganou, because they liked to think they were delinquents too until he whipped them into shape with football and friendship. because of this, he loves tormenting him, it's a fun pastime for him, to be honest and he knows, knows somewhere deep down, that wocky's not as stupid as he -- accidentally or not -- portrays himself to be.

he's no friend, like you said, but there's potential! if wocky wants to beat hiruma at his own game, he'll certainly have to be creative; if he wants to beat him at football, then oh god will he ever have to push himself and work hard. if he does that, he will immediately garner hiruma's respect, because hard-workers are the people he can rely on most, the people he enjoys spending time with. right now, wocky's not there, not even close. his temporary impression is that wocky is a wannabe tough-guy who thinks he's the shit... aside from that almost tender side he caught after his death, oh he noticed kekeke.

hiruma dislikes the gangster aspect about him, but can understand that it's probably just the people he was raised up around -- he thinks the guy has potential, as stated previous, but until he sees him try and try even if he fails, he will continue to ridicule him and, by doing so, subtly try to push him to want to be the very best, the best there ever was. DON'T LET HIM DOWN, WOCKY.

shizuo - colette
screeaaaaaams, he thinks she's adorable!!! god, he would never say that though. she's kind, not afraid to tell him that some of the things he does might prove to be futile (aka trying to lift the gate lol fail) and he appreciates that she's trying to become his friend despite not knowing that he's really a "monster". he doesn't want to scare her -- he's cautious around females because in the past he had a traumatizing experience where he hurt one while trying to protect her -- so he's keeping his distance as he normally does. he wants to get to know her, but he's a coward, he's too frightened himself that he might be seen as a demon in her eyes due to his angry outbursts and lack of control. it'd be horrible to lose control around her and she seems very delicate in his eyes, so he's trying not to do much with her!

hiruma - murasa
aaaaa he really enjoys murasa's company, teaching her the ways of football and wittier sarcasm are the duties he must fulfill and he's determined to make her into something of a football hero on his growing team. hiruma respects how straightforward she is -- she doesn't typically beat around the bush, which is a great amount of relief since most of the people he takes to speaking with are trying to one-up him because of his penchant for taunting and challenging others. she's a breath of fresh air, he can relax (a bit!) around her and her company is placating. her stories are interesting; he's overly curious about her past with the buddhists and more so in her water manipulation which pretty well floored him considering he's never seen anything supernatural like her before.

so she is not only his gateway to their fantastical world, she's a friend he likes to spend time with -- not that he'd ever admit this of course, they both have their pride and he's too stubborn to admit when someone has impressed him. hiruma finds her comical, which helps; her humour is something he likes. it's easy to guess when she's joking, but it's cynical enough to appease the darker, misanthropic side of him. it's good to have a comrade he can sit and deride without her really caring at all. many many stars for murasa!!

hiruma - kurisu
thank god, another intellectual he can bounce ideas off of. he's so greatful kurisu was dropped her before him and that she has an insatiable thirst for knowledge, something he has in common with her. the two of them together have come to some awesome conclusions -- with many more theories to discover -- and share the mutual skepticism in the supernatural, a bit of a relief for hiruma. she's not suffocatingly bizarre like some of the people he's met and not an overly complicated person until you start poking at her brain with witty questions and comments. mad respect; she even has a sense of humour, splendid!

overall, hiruma believes he will benefit from their chats -- he would call her a comrade now, but a few more conversations should bolster that feeling. she's kind enough, really a doll to talk with about their holly heights catch-22 situation. at least she's aware that this is a kidnapping as well, he despises that some people have given up and completely laid down for this mysterious landlord. the fact that she hasn't and is still actively searching for ways to get out is so refreshing, he'd thank her if he was any less pig-headed.

they have to go try to bust into the prison though, that would be the funniest thread in the world.

hiruma - mamoru
enfjwnfkfejnw from what he can tell -- and he can tell quite a lot from the handful of conversations they've had -- mamoru is not only infuriatingly confusing, thanks to those here and there replies he gets, but obviously an intellectual man. he has no set opinion regarding his skills and isn't bothered by his apparent blindness whatsoever; to hiruma the people who have setbacks in their lives work far harder than those who have everything, so he feels he should respect the guy just for living with the disability because it automatically means that he puts forth more effort to get the same results someone at their healthiest would. in no way does he pity him.

curiosity killed the cat, but hiruma feels the need to poke around a little more to get an overall approximation of how he should be dealing with mamoru, but for now he's content with talking to him about death, guns and testing his patience by making inappropriate taunts about his blindness. seems polite enough, but he understands that he's not the only one subtly mocking -- hE'S ONTO YOU, MAMORU.

fdogj colette and shizuo balance out the absent moe in himura and wocky's "relationship". hilariousness.

Hiyori is so fond of Hanako it hurts. She's smart and not painfully loud. (Also really pretty ;.;) Hanging out with her is really fun even though she's a little more scared to mess things up with Hanako just because she's so nice.

What Hiyori hates is that Hanako has just as bad self confidence as her if not worse and Hiyori doesn't have a lot. To Hiyori Hanako is so amazing it seems unfair that Hanako herself doesn't see it. ): So Hiyori really wants to help her gain more self confidence because she knows it helps.

Hiyori really likes Shizuo honestly. When he was here the first time he saved kittens dammit. That's a good way to start off her knowing someone. What's funny is partly because of her time around Sweden and his scary faces she's not scared of Shizuo any more than the average person. If anything she's scared less. Even with his ability to lift grocery bags and Izaya like it's nothing. She's more worried about him being angry than "HIT THE DECK AND CRY". Anger comes with a reason and while being trapped and kidnapped it is logical she's wondering if something happened to him before. ):
