i. network [a young man of about twenty, looking less like a furball, and more like, i dunno, hugh jackman or a renaissance painting. take your pick. regardless of his form, he looks incredibly disgruntled, hunched over in front of the screen, hands tensed up, as if they were claws instead of fingers, and if he could growl, he would. alas, humans do not growl.
his eyes flick to the screen-- bright blue, almost shockingly so-- and then they return to the table.]
I'm not... supposed to be here. Nothing about this is right. [a snarl.] Tell me where I am.
[his face softens for a moment, but it's almost too subtle to be noticed.] Tell me where Belle is.
ii. someone's roof [it's been a few weeks, and beast (that's all he's called himself. that's all he's let anyone call him.) has come to terms with the fact that belle isn't here, that he's human, that the spell isn't necessarily broken, and that he's going to be stuck here for quite some time. from one curse to another. it's been hard to adjust to a human body, but it's been manageable.
still, old habits die hard, and after a run through the woods, he's climbed up on someone's roof, watching the town at night from his perch. he's waiting-- for something, anything, nothing at all... hunched over and ready to pounce.
someone walks by below, and he hums lowly, his voice gruff when he speaks.]
