Ah, the shameless (shameful?) classic. Happy holidays, Holly Heights.



How it works:
➜ Your character is going about their business when suddenly... oop, mistletoe.
➜ Double oop, someone else walked under at the same time.
➜ Maybe this is usual mistletoe and they can just joke about it and awkwardly shuffle off.
➜ Oooooor maybe it's cursed mistletoe and they can't leave until they kiss each other.
➜ Good luck with that!

Uwah~! Haru-chan's heart is so biggg! I can feel it too! Doki doki!

[She gives him another good squeeze before pulling apart. She doesn't move back far though and instead keeps him a little closer then arms length.]

I do want to try something else too! No tickling this time though! Promise!

[Hajime chimes, leaning towards him again only this time she isn't going for a hug. Her right hand reaches up towards his face in an attempt to brush his bangs gently back from his eyes.]

[ oh... haruichi's really self conscious and almost immediately goes up to put them back--his bangs are his security blanket and his shield, but his fingers curl in the air and he stops, looking down a little and ending up letting her move them aside.

haruichi's eyes are pink, roughly the same color as his hair, big and round. he's got long eyelashes and his brows are knitted together underneath his bangs in time with the shyness, gaze flickering away to the side before he eventually looks up from where his head's ducked down, shoulders hunched a little shyly. this will be the first time...arguably, ever that someone has seen his eyes because he was okay with it and not during a baseball game.

embarrassed, he looks away again and mumbles, ] ...hi. [ fidgeting just a little bit. his heartbeat's going so loud he can hear it in his ears. ]

[Hajime doesn't look away, her eyes are locked on his as though she's seeing something else. Her mouth is gaped for a brief moment before the corners of her mouth pull up and she gives him a smile. It's much softer then her usual one. Perhaps this was a little too forward for her to be doing but he hadn't stopped her hand so she doesn't bother worrying about that at all. If anything she just wanted to meet Haruichi face to face. See the adorable boy underneath those pink bangs. She wasn't disappointed in the slightest.]

OhhhhWWWAAAah! It's good to see you, Haruichi~!

[She beams at him sweetly before letting go of his bangs so he can do what he pleases. Naturally some of them fall back into place though. She won't force him to keep his eyes visible. Just a glance with his eyes uncovered means alot!]

Your eyes are so prettyyy~! But...You're just fine the way you are!

[She pulls him into yet another embrace. She's addicted to hugging the baseball it seems.]

You know...they say eyes are the window to someone's soul? I don't know if that's true but you have a very bright warm soul! I didn't need to see to know that. I can feel it too!

Haru-chan....Thank you!

[She keeps her body pressed against his for a moment longer before parting just enough so she can see his face, lean towards him and gently press her lips against his.]

[ that's it haruichi has been laid low by this amount of affection and this many kind words. he's already flustered while she's staring at him and the smile makes it even worse, gives him a terrible skip of his heartbeat and makes him feel the urge to bury his face in his hands. her smile is infectious even in his total embarrassment, and haruichi willingly goes into the hug she gives him, more or less a limp doll as he tries to get over how flustered he is. the movement makes his bangs mostly fall back, but his right eye's still visible, although he's closed them now to try and calm down his never-ending fluster.

the kiss makes him jump a little too--his eyes snap back open and he almost wobbles a little, but haruichi's going to his best and not pass out from his first kiss with a girl, so he reaches over with shaky and trembling fingers to put his hands on her cheeks, so if he's keeping hajime safe from bad luck, at least she can enjoy it too. besides, he's pretty thankful for her in general--even though she can be a little overwhelming, haruichi sees hajime with an enormous amount of affection and warmth.

he didn't really mind her moving his bangs all that much, in the end, and he's not minding the sweet little kiss, either. ]
