➜ Maybe this is usual mistletoe and they can just joke about it and awkwardly shuffle off.

I've been focusing on my training for the next inter-high. I'm glad you both are here.

<sub>[ While he knew very well that they probably wouldn't technically have an inter-high here, he still couldn't stop his training for it since cycling was his life.

He's also not surprised that they came in here at the same time, but the more he kept on about the mistletoe...the more embarrassed Imaizumi got. Though, not that really anyone who didn't know him well could tell since he wasn't really blushing all that much. ]</sub>

This doorway had less traffic. I guess I see why now. _{[ But...Teshima was here now. What did that mean? ]}

As the new ace, it would be important. That does remind me that I should ask you. Everyone's memories are scattered in what they remember last. What is it from home that you remember last?

[ He might as well go ahead and ask, taking the focus away from the mistletoe above them. He was sure he knew what it meant, but he wasn't going to address that just yet. There's more captain-y questions he has to get out of the way first. ]

Have you been training alone?

I do hope I can train well enough to be the new ace. I only remember a bit after the inter-high. Onoda took us to that store he always likes to go to and bought us stuff, but nothing after that. What about you?

_{[ Obviously, where he is taken from, he doesn't know anything that is confirmed about next year's inter high team, but he wouldn't mind if Teshima already knew seeing as Imaizumi was well aware that either he or Aoyagi would become the next captain of the team. ]}

Yeah, sort of. Every now and then I'll train with Naruko or someone else from Sohoku.

A couple of months after that. The third years have already left. I'm still planning out most of the details. There are a couple of things that need attending to first before I can start the Inter High Plan of Attack.

[ That was all he was going to comment on that. Eventually, Imaizumi would come to know what he knows. Until then he was going to be as vague as possible. ]

We're going to have to work together, you know. [ This guy who's been beating him since forever wa someone he hadto work with now.. Sometimes fate worked in weird ways. ]

A couple of things? What do I---we need to do?

_{[ He's still learning from last inter-high to work with the team, which obviously he is all for now. He had just not really had time to adjust or anything like that, and of course Imaizumi would train as hard as possible for the next inter-high, definitely improving on his climbing skills since Makishima was gone now and the future ace had to be good at everything. ]}

Yeah, I know. You and Aoyagi-san have been training hard? _{[ He kind of assumed they had, within those few months after the inter-high especially, but he didn't know for certain. ]}

[karaokeking]

If there are changes you think should be made to your menus after anything you've experienced in Interhigh, come to me and we'll talk about it.

There are spots opened by the third years leaving need to be filled. We can't plan anything for an incomplete team. Don't worry about Aoyagi and I.

[ He shrugged after that. It was just the apparent truth. They had a lot of work ahead of them. ]

Of course.

_{[ He had been keeping the inter-high for next year in mind, but where he came from, they had just finished, so it was probably a little less than a year away. Unless...he would still be stuck there by then. ]}

We'll fill them, but what if we're not back home in time? Then what?

_{[ There wasn't enough people even counting the third years and what little of Hakone was here to even hold their own inter-high here. ]}

[karaokeking]

Time isn't going to move without us. That doesn't mean you get to rest on your training, though.

[ He laughed lightly at that. Imaizumi was always so diligent, even if his talent was annoying to him in the past. It was good to see he was still the same as ever. ]

Back to the other topic, have you been able to move since we started talking?

_{[ Imaizumi got a serious look on his face as if he was guilty of slacking, which he really wasn't, despite the cold, but he still didn't want that thought to go through Teshima's head again. ]}

Right, and of course! I don't plan on stopping my training. I practice at least once a day here.

_{[ He probably practiced too often since he only had to go to school and didn't currently have a job--but wait...Teshima had a point since he hadn't really tried to move, and now he did and was unable to. He looked like he was confused and kept on trying before looking back at the other. ]}

....What is this?

It's mistletoe, Imaizumi. I thought that should be obvious.

[ Okay, so he didn't need to be a shit, but it was so funny sometimes. He sighed and shrugged. The fact they can't move felt like it meant they need to be 'proactive' about the meaning of the strange plant. Imaizumi was not his first choice for a kissing partner, but he wasn't really getting a choice here. ]

It shouldn't be too hard to put together once you realize it's not letting us move away from one another.

[yowaizumi]

_{[ He knows what it is, and promptly gave Teshima a look that said how done he was with that comment he made, but it's not like he was actually mad or anything. He just wasn't suspecting this out of walking through a doorway and chatting with his senpai. ]}

....We really have to, or we can't move?

_{[ He blinked, mostly wanting out of this because he was embarrassed and did not enjoy the landlord's tricks. ]}

I'm pretty sure we have to. Otherwise, we'd be able to leave, right? We might be able to choose where to kiss one another. If you want to feel comfortable, you can pick it.

[ He laughed at him. It wasn't because he thought it was funny, but because he wasn't taking it badly in the face of how Imaizumi was. It could be worse. It could always be worse. That was why he was just going to take it wit a light-hearted smile. ]
