[ tony decides maybe now is not the best time to leave it up to steve alone, so he leans the rest of the way to catch his mouth, his kiss confident and lingering-- imploring. it's mostly curiosity sure but some narcissistic part of him liked being better at steve than something, which is petty and he knows it. but he also considers it a gateway, maybe he'll go off and start kissing more girls, let off some steam, stop being so tense. nevermind that they were all tense for various reasons but steve (and bruce, honestly) just needed to let off some steam.
