Kuramochi watches the pink-headed batter make his swing at the ball and watches the ball fly into the sky before deciding he should go talk.]

kuramochi's loud enough to easily be heard over the whirring of the pitching machine--though haruichi jumps and his entire face turns pink, he ducks his head shyly, acknowledging it even as his ears start burning from the praise. ] Ah--thank you, Kuramochi-senpai!

[ he steps back a little from the machine, reading the atmosphere well enough that he should go and turn it off, and haruichi scurries off to do just that, using the free second to try and not be a flustered baby. (it doesn't work.) ]

Oh! Alright. [ some of the tension of embarrassment bleeds out of his shoulders, and haruichi ducks his head, going to pull open the door of the cage for him instead. ] I'm kind of glad everyone's still so into practicing... not that I thought they wouldn't be! But it's still nice.

He's glad it's Haruichi that he ran into for practice. If it were Eijun or Miyuki, it wouldn't have been as nice of a practice session. And Furuya... well he didn't talk much.

He gives a laugh as he steps in with his own bat resting on his shoulder.]

Definitely. [ kuramochi's laugh is really familiar, and that combined with the atmosphere of the baseball section of the sports center makes this feel a lot more familiar than it has since his arrival. ] Did you know the pitching machine goes up to 170?

[ there's a little bit of quiet excitement on his face to match kuramochi's louder one, because he does, in fact, love baseball. ]
