[ Uhhh? He's not sure what's going on here. He wouldn't really be surprised if he was kidnapped, after all, he wouldn't really be able to blame his perpetrator for not being able to keep their hands off of someone like him. That, and he's got quite the reputation with the general public.

But that's besides the point, because who kidnaps somebody to just put them in a whole new city, anyways? Maybe he should just play it cool for now, act like he knows what's going on.

[ So this will be where he's working from now on?? It doesn't look like there's many court sessions, to be honest. That sort of upsets him, but really he knows it's probably for the best since... that means there's nothing shady going on here.

[It's been a slow month; even Edgeworth knows it and he's bored out of his mind looking for more work to do.

So, Klavier, you might run into this guy going over a bunch of files for a case that isn't even until tomorrow because he's a bawss.]

[ Klavier isn't one to disturb people when they're-- okay no. As long as he's not killing this guy by asking him what the deal is around here, he doesn't really care what he's interrupting. ]

What's going on here? Rather, what's not going on? [ He isn't really aggravated over it or anything, but he's disappointed, sure. He'll have to get used to not being able to hear the "objection!"s and "take that!"s from all the way out here in the lobby. ]

[Edgeworth lowers his files and looks at him. The only good thing about the drought of cases is that it probably means they're doing their job so well that criminals are cowering in their boots instead of committing, well, crimes.]

Perhaps any would-be offenders have taken the hint and are actually thinking twice about breaking the rules.
