[ another sigh, deep and heavy and he's closing his eyes briefly with something like exasperation, but still... Mikoto doesn't just walk away, ignoring the issue and pretending he never saw, he approaches. too bad it's not a thing where just lifting the cover would do the trick. this here requires more finesse, which Mikoto doesn't necessarily have. but he does have enough experience of dealing with Anna so he can be... gentle, at least.

thus he crouches on the road side from Nill, mindless of whatever car could be passing by-- he's large enough to be seen. and fast enough to get the fuck out of dodge (with Nill) if necessary. anyway. ]

Nill's busy trying to not look like she's got every intention of embedding her face in her hands and not removing it for a week just as soon as they're both free - oh! but it looks like the new angle's definitely helping, and Nill does her best to shift her fingers a little more to make room to slip them out with his help. nearly...!! ]

[ oh make no mistake, the cover is heavy no matter how Mikoto makes it look like a piece of cake, probably not possible to lift for a regular man. Mikoto's simply a monster -- the red king -- who, when necessary and when a ... loli? young lady is in trouble well, can begrudgingly help. because Anna and in some ways Nill reminds him of her.

the new angle and the simple fact that now -- as he rests the cover vertically against the payement -- they both have an easy access to the other side-- well yes, it means more help with letting her wiggle out her fingers free. ]
