[Fine, fine, he'll buy Mizuki's first drink because he's new and FRIEND!! When the bartender comes over, he orders two glasses of brandy -- one for each of them. He then goes back to paying attention to Mizuki.]

Ah, yeah it felt like some weird dream for me, too. {Good or bad, who knows. Maybe if he wasn't in the middle hunting down a certain someone, he would have enjoyed living here. He's mixed about it all, and he's not going to lie, it's easy to forget about certain things and pretend they never happened here.] This place has its perks, but I miss the others back home and Tae-san's cooking. [He laughs, because it's actually really true.] Not sure if I could see myself living here forever, though.

[ Yeah that's right FIRST DRINK OF THE NIGHT GOOO. ]

Heh, I know what you mean. But this place can't keep us here forever, right? This "Landlord" guy will get tired of us stirring around trouble eventually. [ Assuming they actually would be doing something like that. However, as the male gestures over to a few ladies in the crown who were staring from afar, that "trouble" might mean something entirely different. ]

Hopefully you've been keeping Aoba company.

[He averts his gaze, eyes narrowing. It's meant to be a happy time, and well, he's actually done a lot of information gathering and detective work while here.] I can't say for sure, but if they kick out trouble makers, you'll be the first to go. [And he looks happy, friendly once again as he laughs, giving Mizuki a light jab on the arm. It's a good transition to get away from anything too grim. He then looks at a table with a group of rather pretty women.] Having fun with women, treating them to a good time -- that's not causing any trouble at all. Unless you're planning on upsetting them, and well, even if you're a friend, Mizuki, I can only do so much to calm a woman's wrath.

[The drinks come, and he takes his glass, but doesn't drink from it just yet.] Yeah. Now that we're both here, all three of us should do something together.

[ It didn't take a rocket scientist to see how quickly Koujaku's expression changed. He noticed, the small narrowing of his eyes, and as Mizuki opened his mouth to question it, he was quickly interrupted with a slick remark. ] Hey. I do my best to stay out of trouble. At least I won't go looking for it. [ He returns Koujaku's gesture with a small nudge of his own. Yeah yeah being apart of Rib was and protecting his turf had nothing to do with this okay.

But oh boy. Those ladies. ]

You don't have to worry about me. I've never been good with that sort of thing-- not like you, at least. [ Another chuckle, but this time he takes a moment to actually sip from the drink in his hand. It felt a lot more refreshing in good company, and Mizuki was able to smile widely at that. ]

Sounds like a good idea to me. We're probably gunna to have to think of somewhere else to take him besides here, though. [ It may be a regular place for him from now on, but he can't exactly see Aoba enjoy this kind of environment. ]

[He takes a sip of his drink, trying not to chuckle a little at Mizuki's comment on ladies. He does speak after finishing the sip.] It's a new start here, right? Maybe some pretty girl will take a liking to you, especially in this atmosphere. [While he has 3+ girls forgive him for stealing them all.]

[He nods in acknowledgment.] Aoba and drinking don't mix well, but we both now that. [Even if the last time was hilarious.] There are plenty of other things and other nightlife. If not nightlife, I'm sure just having lunch all together would make him happier than he'd admit it.

Not if you take them all first. [ Yeah, he's seen you around town. HE KNOWS HOW YOU DO. Still, it couldn't stop him from taking his own look around. Maybe he was right, but doing this sort of thing would ruin their bonding moment, wouldn't it?

... Maybe not. ] I'll keep an eye out, though.

[ This being said as he completely turns towards the counter of the bar. He's probably just saying these things to appease Koujaku and his lady fetish for the time being, but he's clearly not showing too much interest in it. ]

Lunch? Guess that wouldn't be so bad. [ He muses over the thought for a moment before nodding. ] But do you have a job or something around here? We gotta make time.

[Oh, he feels just a little bad about that.... but he finds it hilarious, too. Still, a little sad because Mizuki's not a bad guy and deserves a nice woman.] I can't turn them down, but if they miss seeing what a good man you are, sadly that's their issue.

[He takes another sip, glad to hear Mizuki isn't giving up because it's actually nice to be with another guy who doesn't get super jealous and try to punch you out over women. Besides Aoba. Then he notices the group of women they were looking at before have also seemed to return a few of their looks.] Speaking keeping an eye out, it seems a few over there have eyes on you. [both of them, technically, but hey, make him feel special.]

I do freelance work like back home, so my schedule is flexible. Are you thinking of starting something here? I think Aoba might have a job, so he might be the one we'll have to cater to.
