WHAT THE FUCK TO DO:

[Natsuru whirls around at the unexpected shoulder tap, and- whoa. Not often she meets girls she's (almost) eye-level with. Especially ones this cute!

It takes a moment, but she eventually manages to stop staring and answer.]

Ah... I wouldn't say I do it for 'fun', really. I just... kind of need new clothes.

I see! I know that girls often like shopping for apparel, footwear and accessories, so I only assumed. I am also in need of clothes, but shopping appears to be funner with friends. Would you like to go in together?

[Natsuru was feeling so good about this conversation when the pink-haired girl responded. Finally someone who's totally fine with it when she doesn't show much interest in girly things. And then she had to go and ask that so nicely... she can't just say no! Besides, it won't hurt to go in, right?]

Um, yes! Er, well... it's a little hard to explain, I'm a tuner, and yeah, car parts... there weren't any air trek parts in the stores here, so I thought I'd check the car, see if I could use its parts...

[ and she trails off in a mumble about parts not being small enough or not the right size and not a lot of tools to use. ]

[ Watching her tinker while she mumbles. She's going to let Kururu finish that thought. Smiling... ]

What is an "air trek"? Is it a small car?

Are you a collector of books, sir? There are many books in my database, but I cannot seem to recall them as easily as before. [ Maybe it has something to do with suddenly turning human upon arrival. ] Electronic copies are more convenient in this day and age, but they say physical copies have some sort of impact and sentimental value... Do you think so, too?

[ now there's someone who speaks a more familiar language-- though humanoid forms are practically unheard of for machines where he comes from, animal forms aren't. and the technology to make them look human certainly exists. color him intrigued.

and she has a point there it's without a doubt more convenient to store copies of books within a database, which he certainly does on occasion, but there's definitely something special about actually turning the pages by hand. ]

My collection includes both, but I have to admit there's a certain sentimental value in owning the physical copies. Not that electronic copies aren't worth as much, but they do make me miss turning the pages by hand.

I have not observed it in real time. Why do you do taichi, miss?

It's good for the joints! And of course, my ki flow is super important, even if I can't currently use it the way I'm used to. But it IS important, in both the martial arts, and in cooking. Bad ki flow can totally ruin a dish.

Ki flow... All humans have ki flow. Am I correct? How does one discern good ki flow from bad?

[He looks up from the bottom of the pool that he's currently in because 1) he emptied it for cleaning and 2) he's scrubbing the tiles now. That's not the kind of thing that qualify as fun, especially if he's all drenched in sweat too. The T-shirt he's wearing is now clinging uncomfortably on his toned body. Pausing for a moment to respond, he looks up at the girl.]

Cleaning the pool. It's necessary, not fun.
