EVERYONE GET IN THE CAR, it's TEST DRIVE TIME!

WHAT THE FUCK TO DO:
► STEP 1; Post a comment with a character that's not in HH as if they're already in the setting or alternative version, post character who is in HH. Scenarios if you need them!
► STEP 2; Tag around and get a feel for your characters, whether or not you're voice testing or planning to actually app them in!
► STEP 3; Post this all over your plurk and get people to get their big asses in here and force them to app or face the consequences. Oh, and I guess have fun. I suppose that's important, too.

b.
so she pauses, and she considers maybe not saying something because it complicates things, but she finally decides. ]
Um... You know Axel?
no subject
Yeah. He's my best friend. How do you know him?
no subject
... well, they're meeting now, and that's good enough for her. ]
He was... here a while ago. Maybe a couple of months ago? We were friends. [ a small smile. ] I'm Colette. Oh, and--um, I guess you're new so you don't know... but I'm not a simulation. It's nice to meet you!
no subject
Ah- [he gives a polite nod.] Roxas. Nice to meet you.
Sorry, but how can I know this isn't just a program? [wouldn't be the first time it's happened to him. he very briefly glances around him before meeting her eyes again, as if he would somehow see a grid there and the simulation would come toppling down.]
no subject
... I don't really know how I can prove it. [ just the slightest bit downcast, but she brightens up and continues on anyway: ] All I know is I'm not a program, and this feels as real as my home. I mean, I was like you, and I just woke up here.
no subject
How long have you been here?
no subject
There was October, and I think I came in the beginning of September, so... [ when she runs out of fingers, even she looks a little surprised. ] Um... almost a whole year, I think.
no subject
no subject
a slow nod. ]
I don't want to worry you, though. People do get to go home--I've seen them leave. [ maybe she should just pretend she's been here for a shorter time... ] I guess me and some other people are just... a little special?
no subject
he looks back to her.] What do I need to do to get home?
no subject
... I'm sorry. I wish I knew, too. [ woah, what a good answer. ] I don't think there's anything you need to do--it's, um... it just happens. One day they're here, and then... they're not. They go home.
no subject
So they must've found their own way. ...Or something else helped them.
Sorry. It sounds like it's happened to people you know.
no subject
really, she shouldn't be making new people feel bad. she's sure he's already got enough to deal with. ] But you don't need to be sorry, Roxas. I think it's better that they're back home, and... it's important that I tell you what I can. Even if it's not really a lot.
no subject
Like you said, a year is a long time. You already know a lot more than I do. Any bit helps.
So-... nothing dangerous has happened while you were here?
no subject
[ and she's totally clumsy so. ]
And before that, someone went around hurting people. It was just those two things, I think.
no subject
You mean the lessor, right? So he can take everyone's powers, but also redistribute them? That- That sounds terrible.
Who was the person that attacked you guys?
no subject
It's only ever happened that once. The Lessor giving people powers they didn't have before, and [ carefully: ] that person. Usually, if he gives something back, it's something you had in the first place. He's given me back a lot of what I had back home.
no subject
So there a reward system, almost? [his face sours a bit.] That's kind of cruel, isn't it? Giving you things from the home he's keeping you from.
no subject
Mm... at the same time, I think it's better than nothing. It felt a little strange not being able to do what I could before. [ she seems a little pensive after this, though. ] But I guess it really is, a little bit--cruel, that is. I never really thought of it like that before.
