NEW SECTION!
For the FIVE WORDS section, list five or so words that pertain to your character. They could be a hobby, they could be their species, they could be traits. Like for the douche's account I'm using to post this, I could put "photography, sick, idiot, student, fighter". Think of them as buzzwords. Go through and see if any words or phrases ping you or if yours and their character show any words in common. Say, your character hates baseball with a passion and you listed that word, and someone else listed that word but they love it! You now have a conversation piece for opposites attracting CR. Get the drift?

She's a former instructor at a military academy, her license revoked after she was unable to control a certain unruly student (also she has a massive crush on angsty assbelt former student). She doesn't really know how to form close connections, but she's trying.

CURRENTLY: Newbie @ 1468, spouse slot. She's incredibly uncomfortable.
WANTED CR: Anything! She works well with the "opposites attract" trope and I think she meshes well with characters that are more loud, boisterous, or feel the need to argue. She's an incredibly supportive person once you get to know her, but she has difficulty in getting close to people. Anyone that is pushy or willing to get into her personal space is definitely preferred! I am also cool with forming negative CR.

Thank god, allow me to wipe the sweat from my brow!! Honestly, since I'm new and have CR, I'm not overloaded on any sort of dynamic so it's really open. I generally am that person who plays one character at a time and then has ALL THE CR EVER!!! so it's all good o7

I'll probably make a post in a few days. I don't like the whole intro post thing because I've made so many and compromised my own interest in the character/situation to make them. 8(

Why hello there!

... I've pretty much made my desire for Quistis CR obvious already, but I noticed there was talk of teaching elsewhere! Chiaki here is in kindergarten (long story. did I explain it already? o.o) and recently lost her non-NPC teacher, so if Quistis did teach at the elementary school, I'd be on that like crazy!

Otherwise, yes, let's have some form of CR somehow!

Good aftermewn! I think she might get into teaching -- or at least part-time tutoring. It's something she's comfortable with. Although at this point in canon she is questioning her abilities (which is why tutoring would be more likely than actual teaching; she has to ~learn to love herself~ etc etc).

WE'LL FIND A WAY! Just so you know, I don't really heavily pursue/push anything, so if it seems like I'm disinterested, I'm not. I've just gotten to the point over the years where I've seen people bugged and pushed around and have been myself that I kind of will suggest something once or twice then not be like DO THEM TAGS I WISH YOU'D REPLY I LOVE YOU SMOOSHES

Yeah, I wouldn't want her rushing into teaching if her canon point makes it difficult! ... Chiaki's not getting out of school, like... ever unless somehow I end up playing her in this game for thirteen years or have someone ICly convince her to skip a crapton of grades. So she'll always be available for an actual teacher. Plus tutoring's an option if she did end up wanting to skip a crapton of grades.

We definitely have options!

Also I'm totally okay with however you handle things! I worry sometimes that I come across as too pushy because I get excited over potential things, but I try not to bug anyone too much because yeah. Being annoying never helps. But I'm used to a lot of different people who approach things a lot of different ways, so no worries on my end~!

Quistis likes to learn and I think her passion could very well be teaching in the long-run, but yeah she's very recently had her instructor's license revoked and it's a bit of a sore spot for her. idk how familiar you are with her canon, but it was because she was a poor leader which is something you kind of need as a teacher.

Nah, if I'm not interested I pretty much flat-out will say something. I don't like my time wasted and I don't like to waste your (a nebulous "your") time, either. I think it's rude to leave people hanging -- which I only just did because I was spewing up something for the welcome log.

Yeah, I don't know what canon point you grabbed her from, but I definitely remember Quistis' development in that area... poor Quisty. D;

And in that case, I just signed up Chiaki as a volunteer for her part-time job, going around handing out coupons, so she's the one I'm going to be tagging Quisty with. But I also put up an open section for Natsuru if you want to hit that too!

hijikata's one of the least obnoxious characters from gintama, but he can be really stubborn if something rubs him the wrong way. he's willing to give people a chance though, that's his thing. he might appreciate that she seems so practical and capable of looking after herself? but from what i remember from ff8 lol he might have a hard time understanding WHY SHE DO THIS etc. and while he may not be pushy, just the fact that they're neighbours might force them to interact!!

...also his house is usually very loud, with kids running all over the place, so she could complain about it... i actually wanted to ask if she'd like to join the 1470 house log on one of the days to put in a complaint and then meet other (kid) characters?

...hijikata also sort of put together a law enforcement unit if she wants a law-related job she could be a trainer there for the more rookie members

Quistis is one of the more odd, contradictory characters from the game! She also seems to be drawn to people who are similar to herself in some way but a little more extreme (like Seifer and Squall) and tries to fix those parts of them -- or at least understand them. She has a very strong desire to take care of the people she is close to (not so much motherly or caring toward everyone tho). BASICALLY if something rubs him the wrong way somehow that would make her more attracted to him?? (Man, I hate that I have to specify that it is not necessarily sexual, but that is how that word do these days.)

Lmao, I would love to do that. She has a notepad with the exact times and days since her arrival where the sound was extreme and what it sounded like, what she was trying to enjoy doing at the time... And refuses to be interrupted until she mentions each and every one of them. :'|

I had thought that she might want to get into tutoring, but at this point in canon I think her confidence in teaching (actual teaching) is pretty law but her feelings toward PUTTIN THE BEATDOWN!!! on dudes and being a swell SeeD is high, so I'd be down for that.

She'll try to use it as leverage to get her whip back.

sdadlkjf i totally understand what you mean. i don't reckon their cr would be bump-free, and it might take a while before they get on better terms - then eventually they'll just build on this banter-y interaction. i think it'd be fun, and also cr i would really enjoy working on

I am super-flattered! She makes me really nervous since fandom mostly portrays her as PERF ICE QUEEN!!! and I see it sometimes, but mostly... not...
