[makoto sighs, already feeling exhausted (but also relieved). while he did just fall he is acting like he didn't, and no amount of prodding seemed like it would force him to admit whether he was putting up a front or not - anyway, it's not like they were close or anything.]

Well, if you say you're fine, nevermind... [he looks a little more attentive now, though still feeling slightly weirded out by the masked face he's looking at.] Yes, I - ah, who are you looking for?

[maybe that's why he was on the roof]

I'm looking for Master!

[ that's all he says for a few seconds. nothing specific at all, just. master. like he expects everyone to know who he is (no, he doesn't really). ]

I need to know if he's safe or not. I thought I heard him around here, but I haven't been able to find him yet. Have you seen him?

[silence reigns until clear clarifies--but the clarification isn't much of a clarification about who 'master' is, other than the other's intentions.]

So 'master' is a guy, right? Is that his name? [immediately, he reaches in his coat's pocket to produce his phone, tapping away] If he is here he should show up on the contact list, along with the house he lives in.
