[ She's positively amazed by this place. In her time, even Ylisstol's bazaar and marketplace aren't as packed with shops like this—and that's saying something, given that this isn't even that huge of a city. It's all very foreign, no blacksmiths or old-fashioned tailors or apothecary or anything of the sort, but other things instead. Now that she's gotten used to the shock of being here, she's very curious, in spite of herself.

Fortunately for her wallet, she's a very frugal person when she needs to be, so for the most part she only window shops, much to the annoyance of eager shop clerks. Every so often she lifts up something—a gown, a figurine, a toy—and murmurs in wonder to herself before placing it back down again. Thinking of how much her family and friends would like this and that.

Unfortunately, she gets a little too absorbed in her wanderings and turns a bit suddenly without thinking, colliding with whoever's standing behind her (that's you!) and dropping her things on the ground. ]

It's lying on the sidewalk, having been thrown as soon as it was discovered in his pocket. If your timing is right, you might walk by just in time to see the young demigod run right into a wall in the shade of the house and fall on his butt, confused and agitated.

Otherwise you might just happen to ask him why he's thrown his cellphone away.]

[Morgiana was definitely there in time to see Nico slam into the wall. Her lips curl into what could be considered an almost amused smile but it goes away just as quick as it came. The fanalis makes her way over, bare feet tapping against the ground. She crouches at his side, red eyes staring at him intently.]

[There's a princess in your midst, Altaciere High, and one that is determined to fit in to the rest of the crowd. Somewhat.

Okay, so her giant ballroom gowns and bright pink hair don't exactly help in that regard, earning her many curious looks from the local kids. But one thing that Euphie's realized is that a number of them are (fairly) self-sufficient, something she unfortunately isn't.

So, in an attempt to become a little more normal, a little less princess-like, she's doing some very brash things like experimenting with cooking recipes. Locked inside the Home Ec. room after classes, Euphemia's been flipping through books trying to find the perfect, and simple, baking recipe. Even if she has a mother-figure here, she should try and help out a little.

The mixing and the preparations go in order, and aside from making a mess with the flour and eggs, the batter looks okay and everything makes it into the oven. It's only when the timer is halfway done, that she starts to smell something burning...]

[So this whole living like a normal teen thing has been working out well over the past few weeks. Euphemia's learned a few things, gained a few friends and acquaintances, and even got a small part time job. The Library honestly looked like it needed a hand or two the few times she's dropped in, and Euphemia's been finding herself adapting to the needs of the job fairly quickly. It wasn't like issuing out orders or going over concerns of certain peoples, but that was okay with her. She could live with this job.

Sitting at the front desk, she's shuffling and sorting around some recently returned books. At the sound of someone approaching, she looks up, a quiet smile on her face.]

[There's no avoiding the smell of burning baked goods even out in the hallway. Ranka is on her way past the home ec room when the smell stops her in her tracks. A baking project that was forgotten maybe? She'd honestly expected to be one of the last people in the building.

Opening the door proves that there's at least one other student around, but it seems pretty clear she needs a helping hand. Walking over to the worrying girl, Ranka helpfully locates and then holds out a pair of oven mitts.]

If you take them out now maybe we can still save them. It's worth a try!

[She doesn't have enough information to figure out why they're burning just yet, but that can be determined after they're taken out of the heat.]

Kyouko knew this was bad. It broke at least one rule, she was sure: Thou shalt not steal. She would be in so much trouble if someone caught her, and her father would be disappointed. But she was hungry, and going into that house and stealing someone's food seemed even worse, even if it was supposed to be her house, according to the papers she'd found. Obviously there had been some sort of mistake. She hadn't lived in a place that nice in a long time.

So, she decided to climb an apple tree. Whoever it belonged to wouldn't miss one apple (or two), she thought, and once she got them she'd just climb down and make her way out of this backyard. No harm, no foul. If she could get her Soul Gem to work, she could manage to...well, she wasn't sure. Finding Mami seemed to be the most logical course of action, and surely the other girl was looking for her too. She wasn't even sure if Mami was here, and that was a thought that was a fair bit too terrifying to entertain. Being trapped in some weird place, in some weird house that wasn't hers, her only means to defend herself wasn't working...and then her senpai missing? It sounded like something right out of a horror movie.

Kyouko did not indulge in many horror movies (she wasn't allowed to most of the time), but she knew enough of the ins-and-outs to know that the line of thinking she was headed down led nowhere good. It was best to focus on the tree. She climbed carefully, but awkwardly — Kasamino City and her lifestyle afforded few opportunities for things like tree-climbing, and without her magical girl powers she would be in a bind if something were to happen.

A stray gust of wind cut her thoughts off abruptly. She lost her balance, and for a brief and dizzying moment, she was certain she would fall, but she grabbed hold of a nearby branch at the last moment. She breathed out slowly, said a tiny thank you to whoever had been looking out for her just then, and continued to climb. The apples were so close, and she only needed to reach out.

She hadn't thought about the climb down yet. She didn't really want to.

There's some punkass kid climbing your apple tree, citizen! What will you do?]

[There's a burst of noise over the network, like someone has their dumb face way too close to the phone and is breathing into it. And someone does have their face way too close, because all you can see on the screen is one giant eye. After a moment, there's a sheepish:]

[Silence. Eventually, the girl pulls away from the screen, and clears her throat in a deliberate, serious way. She looks no older than fourteen or so, and has very long, very red hair. She may look pretty familiar to some, but the polite way she speaks isn't.]

I wasn't sure if these thing really worked... [She rubs the back of her head.] But now that I know, this is way more serious than I thought. If you can hear this, while I'm thankful for the home and the food,

[she bows her head slightly] I already have my own family to go home to, and my mom and dad will be upset with me if I'm out this late.

[She still hasn't really swallowed the idea that this isn't some sort of weird mistake.] Um...I know this is a strange question, but is there some sort of...magic doing this? [...] Eh, I know that sounds weird! [Flapping her hands!!] But this sort of thing is familiar to me, so I'd really like to know. Thank you.

[Familiar. Right. Out of sight, she stares at the ring on her finger. Still no reaction...she couldn't summon her Soul Gem at all.

That was worrisome. What kind of Witch was this? She hunches her shoulders a little, sinking further into her slightly oversized sweater, and mutters, not expecting an answer:]

[Ruby's found out about the outside gates! And somehow, after an attempt to climb over it, she's gotten her cape stuck on one of the gate spikes. At least she still gets a good view of the neighborhood, somewhat.

[It's strange to consider that one man is powerful enough to not only pull her out of the Realm of Darkness but also to render her of her magic and take the Master's (now her) Keyblade away; and even though so far it doesn't appear like she absolutely needs either in this world, after all the time in the Darkness the lack makes her feel uncomfortably vulnerable.

The loss of the wayfinder hurts even more; even though she's back in the Light - from the looks of it at least - because that is the connection to her friends, to Terra, to Ven, to Mickey, to all the people she met over the course of her journey.

There are so many people here though, at least that is what she gleans from her inspection of whatever network the device in her hands is connected to and if there's so many people here, then maybe there is reason for hope, maybe one of them has seen...

She presses her lips together before she activates the feed, and though she might seem just a little haunted, the look on her face is determined.]

[ that shiny new convertible sitting in the driveway of aoba's new (hopefully not permanent) home has been gathering dust since his arrival. aoba hasn't really taken much note of it since the beginning considering that he doesn't know how to drive, nor were cars commonly used back home... but in a fit of restlessness spawned from being continuously foiled out of finding a way out of here, aoba decides to make use of the one key he hasn't used on his ring yet.

it uh, doesn't go so well. which is why he's standing sheepishly on the side of the road with the car (in a ditch), thankfully unhurt... though the same can't be said for the convertible. smoke is rising from under the hood, and the bumper? it's the proud owner of a new, large dent. rubbing the bridge of his nose, he sighs. ]

[ he's walking towards aoba's place to check up on him when he notices something is a little off. he sees aoba next to one of the old fashioned cars they give out (well, old fashioned to him). the car looks damaged, so of course he's going to assume the worst.

[ well. this place sure was something. interesting! and like any normal person, one should walk the streets and ask around to get information about this setting. correct?

well. that isn't this ~suspicious~ figure seems to be doing. as a matter of fact, for anyone walking down the streets passed houses they're sure to see someone perched on one of the roofs (probably the house he was assigned to). if that didn't make him seem concerning enough, the gas mask on his face was surely something to take a gander at.

he's not really doing anything bad though? he seems to just be... sitting there just glancing around; was he looking for something? feel free to ask! ]

[this is really strange (and scary - i mean, the gas mask!? that was really suspicious!), makoto thinks. he's walking home from school and as he keeps on walking he gets closer to this particular scene; at first he had no idea what to make of it, but the more he approaches the clearer the picture paints itself.]

[The plan was to explore the high school fully, so that when she goes to class tomorrow she'd know where all of her classes were. It's important to give a good first impression and it's hard to do that if she's late! Only her self-given tour starts and ends at the music room where the burning need to sing out her emotions trumps the more practical plan of finding her classrooms. It's normal to experience sudden bouts of homesickness after a few days of settling in isn't it?]

[She's about to launch into another verse when she hears a noise, and it knocks her out of her little musical reverie. Maybe she's a famous pop idol back home, but here she's just a girl. [ The noise was sudden, and he definitely did not expect anyone to break into song the next minute. He doesn't understand why the new occupant of the room is singing, but it's not bad. Although still, he refuses to move for a bit. Until he stumbles a bit behind the teacher's podium (of all the places he could have hidden!) and, oh no! He's visible! Drat, he's really not sure what to say, but he places his hands like he always does, right crossed right above his heart, and it may be hostility on his face, but... ]

[For anyone planning on leaving the housing district, they’ll find one lone person stood by the gate. Unlike many who would panic upon waking in such a strange place, this one looks faintly annoyed, but not really too bothered by the changes. It seems quieter than back at HQ, especially as Hidaka can’t really try and get him to join in strange events this way.

But… A lot is different. Not to mention he formally requested a place to himself, to not share unlike what seems to be going on here.

Quietly, Fushimi’s head turns to look in either direction, slowly left and then right, before he fixes his gaze back on the gate.]

…Tsk.

[His hand shifts to settle by his hip, but the sword usually in place there is gone, and he’s left grasping thin air. He’s not the type to get lost – at all – but this was kind of taking the cake.]

[The video is only made when there are no other options left for information gathering. He’s walked far enough, watched people quietly from the sidelines and now he’s back outside the house he woke up by – whatever number that may be. There’s a little dirt on his uniform from the lawn, but thankfully the video hides all of that.

What it doesn’t hide is how tired of this Fushimi already seems. Tired in the bored sense, anyway. Usually he’s kept busy with overworking himself not… this. There’s too much to work out, and everything is too foreign at the moment. The first thing to leave his mouth is a sigh, as though this is too much of a hassle, but then he finally goes to ask a question instead:]

I don’t want to hear any welcomes. Just give me the details to some places I can go live by myself. This [and then the screen shifts to the house he’s been stuck with--] is unnecessary.

[Christmas was just around the corner and Gregory was out and about in the shopping district to shop for some presents!

...Or so he would like, but he was having trouble deciding on what to get. Getting a gift for a son was one thing, but he had his "family" to consider as well now. The places he was going to frequent are the bookstores. Books are just a comfort items to Greg. He could generally pick out a book he thought someone would like, so that was where he was going to start.]

[In this particular bookstore, Miles is poring over the displays of mysteries and legal thrillers, almost dead to the rest of the world. While he is also looking for books for himself, he does think of other people to buy presents for - like his actual biological not dead dad. Christmas isn't his favorite holiday but...it was the right thing to do especially if they were going to give him stuff.
