Had yourself a wild ride, na? I guess it's okay that they're replaceable, right?

[intonation]

[ startled, aoba flinches, eyes going first to the ears, and then the tail. some kind of cosplay? ]

It was an accident. Anyway, even if it's replaceable, it still kinda sucks.

[ if only it were just that. he takes another bite of the apple, tick of the cat ears before standing up ]

That's why they're called accidents, because they usually always suck. Were you in a hurry? [ leaning from one side to the next to get a better look at aoba ]

[ they're really distracting!! actually, isn't this guy embarrassed to be wearing them? ]

Ah... sort of. [ what a weird kid. his shoulder twinges in pain (he can feel the bruise forming under his jacket) and he sighs. ] Of course it hurt.

[ they're kind of attached, and pretty normal. but look at that! he's perking up and leaning in, paying special attention to that shoulder ]

What? [ hey, hey, seriously... he's just a kid, but aoba can't help feeling irritated. ] No way, what's your problem?

Awww... why not? I just wanted to poke it. [ swinging a bag forward he rummages before pulling out a pack of candy ]

Hell no. [ twizzlers are also the grossest candies anyone can offer, too. ] And if you're gonna try bargaining with someone, you should at least get some better candy.

... I just don't want to give you my ramune chews... how about some Black Black, do you want those?

Fine. I'll add in some pure gummies--they could help with those frown lines that are starting to form.

Look, kid... don't you have anything better to do? Like, I dunno, another candy store to raid or something?

Nah, I have work in about fifteen minutes. You looked lonely, so I decided to t-play with you. [ yes, play is a good word. that fluffy tail is just swaying back and forth ]

But I guess everyone here is just way too serious, such a shame~

[intonation]

So are those [ gestures at the tail and ears ] part of your uniform or something?

For my job? [ reaching for his tail, he holds it out ]

It's really there, I don't think Tieria's bold enough to make us cosplay.

[intonation]

[ is it okay to touch it? he tentatively touches it-- ]

Whoah, it's so soft. [ and fluffy. really fluffy. ] Huh? So... you mean you were born with them or something?

[ he figures this is better than having people pull on it. but ah... still no people from home, oh well ]

Yeah, everyone's born with them at home. They vary a lot, but it's basically the same~ We lose them when we start performing adult acts though.

[intonation]

[ getting a little carried away, he ruffles the fur up with a grin. ]

Yeah, pretty much. I mean, there are attachments for when people want to hide it from outsiders... but what's the point, right?

Yup~ Everyone! If someone didn't have one to begin with... that might've been kind of weird.
