( he's not even mad, really, but he does pout when kanato uses his earlier words against him. )

I could manage if I needed to. ( bringing the hand to his lips, he tentatively licks just a bit of blood off, and makes a face. disgusting. )

I'm an innocent human with a head wound, right? ( slyly smiling back at kanato now. thanks for the bait, bro. ) Some good soul will come help poor old me, and then...! ( and then he imagines wringing their neck, but outwardly he just closes his fist at the words. ) Maybe a cute girl or two, hmm...

( kanato too makes a face, both at him licking his own blood and at the fact that he's using what he just did to his advantage. rolling his eyes, he walks closer to his bonfire, hoping the warmth would seep in faster.

it doesn't. he's still freezing.

hugging teddy isn't helping either and he begins to wonder if torching the entire town would help with this cold. or perhaps stepping into the fire ... )

Innocent? Don't make me laugh. ( he snorts, burying his face into his scarf. ) Or did you mean that they would run away at the sight of your face? That seems to be more like it, doesn't it?

( secretly, laito is freezing too, so he edges closer to the burning house also. he doesn't even really bother keeping a safe distance from kanato--they're reduced to snowball fights for the moment. )

Weeell, if they run it might not be so bad. It's even more fun to chase them, you know. ( he smiles again while staring into the fire, his green eyes predatory. ) But some girls would fall for that, wouldn't they? ( he doesn't actually say who he means, because it's obvious. )

as much as he likes games, moving in the cold is the last thing kanato wants to do. laito can play his kinky game all he wants - heck, all the human in this godforsaken place can die for all he cares - but as for him, he doesn't want any of that. all he wants is for him to get warm again.

then again, humans are often warm ... kanato crouches on the ground, arms around his knees. )

Don't - ( his voice hardens though whether it's simply the cold talking or it's him becoming more and more irritated, who knows. it's always difficult to say when it's kanato. ) - talk like she's yours.

( he wrinkles his nose. he hates it that his senses have dulled after becoming human, to the point that he can't even smell the blood even when it's right beside him. )
