[Once he catches his breath he realizes the guy isn't around anymore and he kinda feels a little bad for laughing at him. There's a good chance he's new to his place just like him and it is confusing, if disorienting like all hell. So he'll slowly approach, walking around to look behind the row of houses to see if the guy was hiding.

Lo and behold he'll see him skulking somewhere in the distance and approach as if the guy was a skittish animal.]

Hey, You okay? [Look, see? He's asking questions first! He sometimes CAN be an attack first ask questions never, but he's not on a job. So friendly is the way he'll go unless the guy attacks him, or something else does...]

I'm sorry for laughing at ya.

[Nico shoots a frown at the other guy. Even though he's much shorter, it's clear from his voice that he's an adult. Unusual, sure, but when you're friends with a 10' tall titan size starts to sort of lose its meaning.]

Why should you care if I'm ok?
[He clearly doesn't believe that apology, either. It's too late to apologise, Doug!!! Hades kids hold grudges forever.]

[Nico doesn't think that being curious is the same thing as actually being concerned but he just sort of huffs.]

I'm fine. Leave me alone.

[What he can't actually admit he was a little concerned okay? He's trying to be nice here Nico. Do you know what nice is?]

[Hands in his pockets as he looks around, then back to Nico and looking him over with some skepticism and a quirked brow.]

You don't seem fine. Hell, when I first woke up here I thought maybe I'd died. To tell you the truth I'm not sure how to feel about this place, but 'fine' would be the last thing I'd use to describe myself right now.

[He's trying at least? Everybody needs a friend. He's not sure why he's decided this kid would be good to help or make friends with but, yep. Here he is, trying to level with him.]

You really wanna be alone in a place you don't even know? I sure don't. It's too quiet and perfect looking, I'm just waiting for something ugly to pop out and try to kill me.

[Could also be where he's from and what's happening right now, or what he IS but ya know. It's a good excuse right? Something to attempt to get Nico not to tell him to go away.]
