[ The noise was sudden, and he definitely did not expect anyone to break into song the next minute. He doesn't understand why the new occupant of the room is singing, but it's not bad. Although still, he refuses to move for a bit. Until he stumbles a bit behind the teacher's podium (of all the places he could have hidden!) and, oh no! He's visible! Drat, he's really not sure what to say, but he places his hands like he always does, right crossed right above his heart, and it may be hostility on his face, but... ]

....ka. [ He's going to have fun talking, really. Second female he's met, anyway, apart from Yui. ]

...Ka? [Ranka tilts her head, unsure what that means exactly.] Are you okay?

[ It's not as though Anubis can say anything other than what he could, and it's a little discouraging. However, other than his effort to learn how to communicate with Yui, his will is limited. ]

Ka. Ka-barabara. [ Translation; 'this is Anubis's spot', although that can't really be communicated over, anyway. Still, the reserved hostility. ]

[This is the first time there's been a language barrier since she arrived, so admittedly Ranka is a little perplexed.]

Ka-barabara? [She has no idea what he's saying, but the fact that he really is annoyed is becoming much more obvious.] Maybe I should just go.
