Dude you're going way too fast

TEST DRIVE MEME

SO HOW DOES IT WORK?

► STEP 1; Post a comment with a character that's not in HH as if they're already in the setting; alternative version, post character who is in HH. Scenarios if you need 'em!
► STEP 2; Tag around and get a feel for your characters, whether you're just voice testing or planning to actually app them in!
► STEP 3; Post this all over your plurk and get people to join in on this jolly good fun. Don't forget: it's mandatory.

Taken from someone who took it from someone who took it from someone I don't even know anymore. TOOK IT FROM THE MEME COMM.

Gregory Edgeworth | Ace Attorney

[personal profile] notadetective 2013-11-26 05:18 am (UTC)(link)
[Option A - Video/Audio]

[Greg here was fumbling with the phone he had received upon arrival to this strange establishment and was doing a terrible job at getting it to work how he wanted it to work. The image of him kept going in and out on the video feed and he may have accidentally called you.]

I'm terribly sorry for bothering you. I did not mean to have this phone call anyone in particular. (Hm. I would have liked an instruction manual with this phone that I'm being forced to use. A simple phone without all these options would have suited me just fine.)

[Option B - Action]

[Christmas was just around the corner and Gregory was out and about in the shopping district to shop for some presents!

...Or so he would like, but he was having trouble deciding on what to get. Getting a gift for a son was one thing, but he had his "family" to consider as well now. The places he was going to frequent are the bookstores. Books are just a comfort items to Greg. He could generally pick out a book he thought someone would like, so that was where he was going to start.]

[Option C]
Whatever ya wanna play out.
prosecutory: (♘ my missionaries)

B, buy me that new issue of Holly Samurai for Christmas, Dad

[personal profile] prosecutory 2013-11-26 06:08 am (UTC)(link)
[In this particular bookstore, Miles is poring over the displays of mysteries and legal thrillers, almost dead to the rest of the world. While he is also looking for books for himself, he does think of other people to buy presents for - like his actual biological not dead dad. Christmas isn't his favorite holiday but...it was the right thing to do especially if they were going to give him stuff.

He's not easy to miss, Greg. I mean, look at the color of his suit.]

notadetective: (You say it's too late to make it)

So that means you admit to your father that you like a children's tv series.

[personal profile] notadetective 2013-11-27 06:09 am (UTC)(link)
[We really need to talk about your choice in clothing, Miles. Anyway, he does indeed see his son and he's NOT calling out to him just yet. No he's taking note of what section Miles is browsing in right now. The young man with his furrow brows seem to be focusing on that bookshelf as is that he doesn't want to interrupt his thoughts.

It is strange for Greg to be so...uncertain about how to approach his own son though. Then again, the last time he saw his son, he was still a child. It would be improper of him to continue observing and not speak to him though. After he collects his thoughts on the matter, he'll be walking over to join Miles shortly.]

I see we had the same idea to come here to avoid the snowstorm outside.
prosecutory: (♙ and I'm not ashamed to be)

Shhhhhhh it's a family secret

[personal profile] prosecutory 2013-11-27 12:36 pm (UTC)(link)
[He looks up and turns toward the sound of a voice he would have to get used to hearing again. It's still odd, being with someone you've never seen for more than 17 years...and who you thought you would never see again. Regardless, the corners of his mouth move up into a small but sincere smile. Strange as it was, it was always good to see his father.]

It's only logical to stay in a warmer area than brave that blizzard. [Miles tilts his head toward the nearest window to indicate it; his hands were still full of book.]

notadetective: (But is it too late to try?)

I'm sorry, I was told he had to be reading this book

[personal profile] notadetective 2013-11-29 06:52 am (UTC)(link)
Yes, quite. [He looks to Miles collection of books he is carrying. Some of the titles he recognizes, and then there's one particular book that gives him a raise brow]

"How to use Courtroom Drama to Win Cases"...? Is this a fictional work?
prosecutory: (♖ sticks and stones may break my bones)

OMG THAT BOOK

[personal profile] prosecutory 2013-11-30 02:23 pm (UTC)(link)
[He raises a brow of his own right back.]

Most likely, but I wished to scan it to see if people still recognize the fine line between fiction and reality.

Courtroom drama winning cases? Poppycock!
injusticewetrust: (shining teeth of righteousness!)

Option A/Video I'M.... REALLY DUMB..... CRIES

[personal profile] injusticewetrust 2013-11-26 08:14 am (UTC)(link)
Ha ha ha, it's no problem! Are you having phone troubles? Perhaps I can help!

[...This man looked really familiar...]

[[ooc: Oh my god I can't believe I failed on that spectacular of a level OTL;; shame upon myself]]
notadetective: (You say it's too late to make it)

Wait what? What did you do????

[personal profile] notadetective 2013-11-26 11:25 pm (UTC)(link)
Hm, yes I would appreciate the assistance. Although right now I'm simply wondering if I could make a request for a simpler phone. I don't necessarily need all of these additional features.

[Greg, you're so old]

[ooc: I'M CONFUSED. WHAT DID YOU DO?]
injusticewetrust: (smile)

Accidentally replied to the post not the thread OTL;;

[personal profile] injusticewetrust 2013-11-27 02:06 am (UTC)(link)
[What an old man-- except wait aren't you only two years older than Fulbright??]

You could try sending a request to the Landlord, but I doubt he'll oblige, unjust man that he is. I could teach you how to use the most important features of the phone, so you don't struggle with it whenever you use it!

[[ooc: I think I replied to the post instead of your thread OTL;; Gigantic fail]]
notadetective: (But is it too late to try?)

...That seems like a mistake Fulbright would do

[personal profile] notadetective 2013-11-27 06:22 am (UTC)(link)
[Well considering who you are...keeping up with technology is kind of important to you.]

There are a number of things I would like to request, but I'm sure the landlord would refuse them as well.

[A small sigh.] (There's no point thinking about what I can't do right now. I should focus on what I can do.)

I thank you again. Would it be all right for me to request if we can speak about the phone in person?
injusticewetrust: (Default)

S-Shush ;___;

[personal profile] injusticewetrust 2013-11-27 06:36 am (UTC)(link)
[You should keep up with the times too!]

Of course! Is there a particular place you would like to meet?
notadetective: (We're out of time)

There there..../patpat

[personal profile] notadetective 2013-11-27 06:57 am (UTC)(link)
[That's kind of hard to do when you've been dead DX]

Unfortunately, I don't know my way around the town just yet but... [Give him a moment to figure out where he is right now.]

Hm, I believe I'm in the town square right now. Yes, perhaps we could meet here? I'll be the gentleman wearing a brown trenchcoat and fedora.
injusticewetrust: (JUSTICEEEEEE >:D)

Damn you people... Video > Action

[personal profile] injusticewetrust 2013-11-27 08:20 am (UTC)(link)
Alright! Justice is on its way!

[With that, Fulbright ends the video call. About a few minutes later, you can see him, in his white suit glory, waving at Gregory with a big grin. He comes to a stop in front of him.]

Hey! I never did get your name, did I? But it's rude to ask for someone's name without giving your own, so let me introduce myself. I'm Bobby Fulbright, a champion of justice and detective in criminal affairs!
notadetective: (The people we used to be...)

Action

[personal profile] notadetective 2013-11-29 06:11 am (UTC)(link)
[If he somehow managed to miss that over the top white suit, than he'll hear his over the top voice]

Oh, so you're a detective? (...He's quite the opposite from Detective Badd)

[He pulls off his hat and bows his head in greeting] My name is Gregory Edgeworth, defense attorney. It is a pleasure meeting your acquaintance, Detective Fulbright. [He puts his hat back on]

I apologize for not introducing myself earlier as well.
injusticewetrust: (Default)

Action

[personal profile] injusticewetrust 2013-12-01 03:39 am (UTC)(link)
It's nice to meet you as well! Say, do you happen to be related to Chief Prosecutor Miles Edgeworth? I can't say that last name is a very common one!
notadetective: (I thought I saw an unfamiliar shadow)

Action

[personal profile] notadetective 2013-12-02 06:54 am (UTC)(link)
-!? Well I... (My son? The Chief Prosecutor? Surely he is speaking of someone else who shares my son's name.)

I do have a son name Miles Edgeworth back home, but he is only a child and wishes to be a defense attorney one day.
injusticewetrust: (smile)

Action

[personal profile] injusticewetrust 2013-12-03 07:37 pm (UTC)(link)
[The resemblance between the Chief Prosecutor and this man was uncanny though...]

This place can bring people from different points in time, so it may be possible that you are from the Chief Prosecutor's past!
notadetective: (We're out of time)

Action

[personal profile] notadetective 2013-12-03 08:18 pm (UTC)(link)
Is that so...? [Well if he can be brought back to life, surely he can handle the concept of time travel. Except hearing his son being a Chief Prosecutor is just odd.]

Is this Miles Edgeworth you know of, here? I may want to speak with him later.
