Have the first test drive for the new year!!
TEST DRIVE MEME

SO HOW DOES IT WORK?
► STEP 1; Post a comment with a character that's not in HH as if they're already in the setting; alternative version, post character who is in HH. Scenarios if you need 'em!
► STEP 2; Tag around and get a feel for your characters, whether you're just voice testing or planning to actually app them in!
► STEP 3; Post this all over your plurk and get people to join in on this jolly good fun. Don't forget: it's mandatory.
Just copypasta-ing from people on the meme comm

She's fairly defensive as she looks up at England, crossing her arms over her chest.]
Most of these animals are rubbish anyway. Do you know where the crocs are?
no subject
[Slightly judging her for that name, but there we go.]
I would say go to the other zoo. This one is Holly Heights' original, however Hong Kong seems to have set up one of his own which has a wider variety.
no subject
Which is a terrific name, fyi.]
Can you pet the animals over there too? [CAN SHE PET A CROC?]
no subject
Because Bert probably didn't appreciate her loud voice so close to his ear. Gosh.]
Well, I suppose it depends on the animal and whether someone certified is close by. It wouldn't do to have you lose an arm, now would it?
no subject
That wouldn't happen to me. I'm good with all animals. [Australia let her ride crocs and pet sharks all the time, okay.
(Well. Maybe not ride them, per-say. But she could get pretty close to them! And Australia does that sort of thing all the time, anyway.)]
no subject
but, his face shifts a little at that. Thankfully he can't hear her thoughts on this, because Australia is completely off his rocker and gives him heart attacks so-]
Good with animals doesn't equate to being invincible you know. If anything were to happen at the moment, you would be fully injured. No enhanced healing.
no subject
Animals don't hurt me! I played with pythons all the time back home, y'know.
no subject
This isn't the same as home.
no subject
Australia'd still let me-- I mean, I'd do it anyway because I'm mature enough and he's an a bit of an idiot, but he wouldn't complain.
no subject
Yes well... [The frown on his face shows his OBVIOUS DISAPPROVAL.] He isn't exactly the best at managing insightful decisions. If there's someone who can keep watch, they might not mind, but you mustn't get mad again if they say no.
no subject
I wasn't mad. [She's just used to getting her way.]
I bet if you came with me and explained how used to the animals I am, they might let me.
[Hint: take her to that zoo and let her swim with crocodiles.
...Please?]
no subject
Of course. [Though he seems to consider her "request". Unlike her, animals aren't exactly his best friend -- but he's also a sucker for cute children. What a life-]
Very well. I suppose we might as well ask.
no subject
Ta! [She's surprised, and England gets a rare smile for his troubles as Wy begins walking toward the exit.] Did you bring your car?
no subject
But exactly, they can be a little frightening okay.]
It's in the parking lot, yes. As Taiwan is no longer here, and the landlord hasn't seen to put another person in her place, the car is essentially mine.
[run for your life tbh]
no subject
Australiaan expert to help out.]'Kay. Come on, then!
[She leads the way to England's car, none the wiser.]
Remember to tell them how I'm used to playing with those kind of animals. No one even needs to watch me, I could totally do it by myself.
no subject
Hardly. If they insist on having someone watch over you I won't tell them otherwise. [a pause, and he tries to be stern] And nor will you.
[Oh look here's his car - thankfully he hasn't tried to paint it with an awful union jack or something, that'd be embarrassing, though there is a set of those dumb car dice hanging from the mirror.]
Now, in you get.
no subject
[If anything, had he painted the car like that she would probably have just found it endearing, though the union jack wouldn't have been her first choice. If you ever want this car painted somewhat more artistically than that however, she's your girl!
She's gets in, still making her case to England.]
I could easily do it myself though. I know more about animals than you do, I bet. And I'm a recognised nation-- I'm more mature than the micronations and I'm totally old enough.
[Wy, no, you're nine years old.]
no subject
As long as it's not flowers or hearts.]
You're hardly "old enough". [A sigh as he gets in as well, starting the car up.]
Now fasten your seatbelt and I'll take you there.
no subject
I am so. I'm more grown up than Sealand is. [Wy has technically been around over fifty years, y'know!
Even if she personally wasn't around back then. She does as she's told anyway.]
no subject
Not a difficult feat, I'm sure you're aware.
[And it's not always about actual numbers either, really! Just throwing tantrums really is childish, Wy.
P.S. Hold on for dear life starting now, can't be tamed]
