You know those stuck-up assholes who know everything? They think they're so goddamn perfect, but they're really just morons who get in your way at every turn. Eyebrows is one of them. [ An essay by Ryuko Matoi age 17. ]

Oh. ( her tone turns flat and leans forward in her seat; her arms folded above her knees. )

Yeah, I know those assholes. I have two of my own right now.

[ Wow. She laughs, but it's more sympathetic than anything else. ]

Oi, you want me to punch them too? I don't mind knocking jerks down a few pegs.

[ineuphony]

( at first, she flashes her a pout at the laugh but a few seconds after, she forms a smile and laughs along with her. )

Aaha, it's alright. The first guy when I finally met him in person, I punched him in the face. His nose started bleeding!!

( and she still remembers how surprised togami looked after she did it. )

[ A little more of the tension drains away. She's still thinking about punching people, but she's not thinking about Satsuki, and that's a first for her since she woke up. ]

But you said there were two. What about the second one?

[ineuphony]

Yeah, but sometimes I get a lot of heat for rushing in without thinking. -- The second one, I don't think I can do that. He's sorta in charge of the school around here and if I punch him, then I'd probably get expelled or something. That's the last thing I want.

An asshole's an asshole. Don't let anything get in the way of puttin' them in their place.

[ Yeah well not everyone is a piece of shit delinquent like you, Ryuko. ]

Because I know my mama wouldn't want me to solve things with just punching. 'Sides, I do have a reputation and I'm the student council's secretary. How kind of example would I be for my fellow peers?
