[ Hibiya's still trying to get used to Ayano -- but, well, she's related to Hiyori, so... he might be putting in a little more effort to tolerate her compared to the rest! At first, though, he just gives Ayano a slight facefault, saying in a deadpan tone: ]

I didn't think you'd actually make it when I said that, you know...

[ but he receives the scarf (he already has a hoodie he's used to, after all.....) and studies it more closely. Its pattern on the fabric looks similar to this -- ]

[ his tone changes to obvious confusion as he facefaults more obviously, too. ] -- Wait, microphones?

[ he's all right with the moons, since they sort of remind him of that time he looked at the moon with renewed determination to save Hiyori!!... but wouldn't microphones fit Momo better? ]

Really? I made these for everyone else, so why wouldn't I make one for you?

[ She nods at him when he questions the microphones. ]

Is there something wrong, Hibiya-kun? [ Smiling down at him like this, doesn't she kinda remind him of Hiyori a bit? It's probably the family genetics and all that. ]

[ ...she... does remind him... WHY. Tries to push Hiyori out of his mind for now -- just for now. When he's with Ayano. Well, he wouldn't want to get emotional again, all of a sudden. He's still gotten better with his confidence levels, really!! But Hiyori's still... ]

I-It's fine!! [ and now he's looking a bit flustered, too. ] Just -- microphones would fit Momo better!! And --

[ he holds the scarf a bit closer... ] You didn't have to bother. But I... like it...!

Hmm... Momo-chan's an idol, right? [ She's only heard about her from Shintaro. Hibiya's right in thinking idols would be a better fit for her, but... ]

I guess I just had a feeling they'd fit you? Ehe...

[ She smiles really widely, beaming even, when Hibiya finally admits he likes it!!! Stop being such a tsundere ]

[ he sighs and moves to try it on, unwrapping it nonchalantly, but--!! ]

Yeah, Momo's the idol... I don't really see how they'd fit me, but --

[ HE DOESN'T LIKE AKB48 THAT MUCH, SHHHH SHH--!! (except he totally does) ]

[ anyhow, he finally gets it around his neck and, with a fling that's almost like an afterthought, it somehow... looks cool? It's comfy, and warm, too... (maybe too warm for the current temperature, but, he won't be wearing it that long?) -- he clenches a hand lightly against the fabric, as if surprised by it. ]

...It's... good.

[ he avoids using the word "nice" (he's not that tsundere, either, gosh) but... it's nice, too. ]

[ Ayano smiles warmly at him, reaches out to pat his head. Good boy, Hibiya, good boy!

He's not very good at being honest with himself, is he? It reminds her of someone else she knows... Ehe, maybe that's why she feels like she has to take care of him.

The thought makes her smile a little wider. ]

Have you been adjusting to Holly Heights okay? You came along a little later than I did, so I just want to make sure you're alright.

[ He was about to open his mouth to respond but -- hey, don't pat him like he's some cute pet?! FROWNS DEEPLY AGAIN AT THAT. ]

[ And don't start comparing him to that guy (though he's all right, too, Hibiya guesses)... and, well, and he doesn't really need Ayano to take care of him! -- except he probably does need it, being as young as he is. ]

T-Thanks. It fits okay, so... [ ducks out from under her hand!! ]

And, I... guess. It's still weird being "trapped", here? But -- [ his frown lessens -- ] It could... be a lot worse than this.
