THEY TRYIN' TO CATCH ME RIDIN' DIRTY

So how does it work?
STEP 1 ► Post a comment with a character that's not in HH as if they're already in the setting; alternative version, post character who is in HH. Scenarios if you need 'em!
STEP 2 ► Tag around and get a feel for your characters, whether you're just voice testing or planning to actually app them in!
STEP 3 ► Post this all over your plurk and get people to join in on this jolly good fun. Don't forget: it's mandatory.
Copypasted, as usual.

Where the hell was she now? This wasn't the jail, this wasn't...anything she knew of. It was too peaceful, too cheerful, the collar around her neck-
Wait.
Where was her collar?
Her hands groped her neck and found that it was pleasantly bare. There wasn't even a mark.]
It's...gone...
[A smile came to her face and a giggle shook her body as tears of joy came down her face. She was free. She didn't care how or why it happened, but it did. She was out of that horrible place, and best of all she could do whatever the hell she wanted now. The only problem was...she didn't one where she was. She needed some poor sap to help her out there. She put on her most pitiful looking face, making the happy tears in her eyes seem like one of fear or sadness.
Surely someone would help this poor, lonely little girl.]

He approaches her with caution. ]
Um, hey. [ He weakly raises his hand to catch her attention. ] Are you okay?
no subject
She stares at him with big, watering eyes, and pouting lips.]
N-no, I can't find my brother.
no subject
He's genuinely concerned, though. His eyebrows furrow as he thinks. ]
What's he look like? What's his name? M-maybe I know 'im... [ not likely. ] Um. Didja check your phone? The landlord shoulda put his name there.
no subject
Ah- I have a phone?
[Are you kidding? A phone? For free? She checked a pocket in her dress and sure enough...there it was.
This place just kept getting better.]
His name isn't here. What does that mean?
no subject
—but don't worry! Maybe he'll be here soon. [ Wait, shit, he doesn't want to get her hopes up. Getting stuck here is a bad thing for a lot of people, too. ] O-or maybe the landlord'll let ya go home after a month or somethin'. It happens a lot.
no subject
Falling for her ruse, Ringabel is at her side immediately, stooping and extending his hand.]
Are you lost, my dear?
no subject
Ye-yeah. I just arrived here. I can't find my brother anywhere.
[How sweet of him to offer his hand like that. She takes it without a second thought.]
Are you familiar with this place?
no subject
I'm afraid not, but for a gentleman to leave a despairing lady unattended on the streets is absolutely ignominious. [Deftly, he pulls a clean and folded handkerchief from one of his pockets and offers it to her. He has, like, seven of these. Just for when he meets a cute, upset female.]
For your eyes. You say that your brother has gone missing?
no subject
[What a gentleman....she will keep him in mind for later.]
Aw, you're sweet. [She takes the handkerchief and dabs it lightly around her eyes to dry her tears.]
Yes, I can't find him anywhere.
no subject
Such a saccharine flower should be treated likewise, wouldn't you say? There. [Referring to her tears.] Much better. Granted care and a smile upon that lovely visage, your eyes will dry completely in no time.
Now, in terms of the geography of this area, I may not be of much help, but I can provide some company and brainpower. I'm a lost lamb myself.
