I should be okay, yeah. [ He's going to try to at least sit up--ouch. SORE EVERYWHERE. Pikachu is just clinging onto Red's arms sobbing a river of sheer happiness now. ]

I've been through worse. [ Herd of Tauros, but this still hurts...! ] Are you okay?

[customizing]

[Not even a herd of Gogoat can compare to a herd of pissed off Tauros. Serena's just going to glance over her shoulder to check on her own Pokemon, who's now preoccupying himself by trotting around someone's front lawn and examining their flowers, and then offer Red a hand up.

Oh Arceus, Pikachu, he's alive stop crying or she's going to be tempted to console you too.]

I didn't get run over, so I'm fine. [She smiles easily at least, though it doesn't last long.] Sorry about that. I think 'Goaty's just a little bit... Durantsy. He needs to run around more.

Goaty? [ He'll take that hand without even thinking about it. He really does need the extra help. Ouch ouch ouch. Pikachu will not stop the tears!! At least not yet. ]

Is he your Pokemon? [ Not that any he has seen before, but--IT DOESN'T LOOK LIKE THE GOATS FROM THE PETTING ZOO. ]

[Well, no, it doesn't. Plus most goats don't actively run people over either 8D Enjoy some awkward staring, Red. This goat might have your number.]

Mmmm hmm! That's right! He's really just a Gogoat, but they're great for travelling long distances! [Or just making your way to school when you're late oops.]

I'm soooooo glad to find someone that has a Pikachu and knows what Pokémon are though! You have no idea what its like when people don't know what you're talking about! [She kneels down and tilts her head to address the mouse.] Aw, come on little guy. You can stop crying any time now!

[ It's okay, Gogoat, shhhh. He'll continue to stare at the other Pokemon because he's obviously intensely interested in the Pokemon he has never seen. Right, right, uh-- ]

That's pretty cool. [ The most he has done is travel on his bike or on the back of his Charizard. Pikachu stops crying because SHE IS A CUTE GIRL and he would obviously like her attention. Sheepishly hiding behind Red's arm (not really a good hiding place), he watches her carefully. ]

I think I have a pretty good idea. [ Since he is here after all. ] Aren't you going to be late?

[Riiiight, meanwhile, Gogoat will keep staring at Red as it sniffs some nearby flowers. You better not do anything fishy to his trainer.

She smiles brightly at Pika, even reaching out to give him a good scratch in between the ears if he allows it. Oooh, how she wanted to catch one when she first started her journey!] Yeah! My mom used to ride Rhyhorns for races too, but I prefer Gogoat. Had 'im since he was a Skiddo!

[And so much sheepish laughter. He has a point, but...] Well... yeah, but... I think accidentally running you over and seeing if you're okay is more important. I'm sure they'll understand!

[Or ban her from using her Pokemon. Whichever one comes first.]

Your mom is a racer. [ Very, very cool. He'll silently agree that Gogoat seems to be easier to handle than a Rhyhorn--unless it comes with a saddle. Pikachu will just enjoy the scratch and let out a soft chaaa noise. ]

You're right. [ Even if it's still an excuse, it's better than my Pokemon ate my homework. ] Where's your class?

[ He can at least accompany her to her classroom... Not that he knows how this school thing really works!! But they can't be that late, right?

Former racer. I thought about doing it myself too, but there really hasn't been a trainer in the family before, sooo I thought if try it! [Plus a lot of the Rhyhornd she's found just for compare.

Uh, it shouldn't be too far from here. [Gonna be rattling off an address while she waves over her Gogoat. The big Grass type trots over, looks over the other boy and the Pikachu, and...

It's all right. [ He doesn't seem to be put off by the Gogoat's bad attitude. TAKES IT LIKE A MAN. Pikachu makes some more squeaks before climbing up to Red's shoulder and leering at the Gogoat. CALM YOSELF. ]

You should probably call him off before we're caught by the hall monitor. [ Upon hearing hall monitor, Pikachu tries to hide into Red's shirt. The beer belly is real. ]

Yeah, I guess you're right. [She'll pull out his Pokeball despite the incredulous look from the goat. Really? Seriously? You're going to ruin his fun today, Serena?

Pikachuuuuuu~? You're hardly inconspicuous, y'know~ [She's going to playfully poke that terrible beer belly, before bouncing to Red's side. If we're going to go let's gooooo!] So... are you the only other trainer here?

[ Pikachu giggles as he's poked because HE IS SENSITIVE. Don't touch there!! The mouse just plops out from the bottom of Red's shirt and fall on his butt. At least the mouse quickly trots after the two though while trying his best to go unnoticed (aka hide behind all the pillars/objects and act ninja). ]

There are other trainers here--[ But... Now that he thinks about it. ] It was mostly from Unova.

[ Ah, it looks like they turned the wrong corner?! ] Are we going the right way?

[Omigosh Pikachu how are you so cute!! That tail is totally noticeable behind that lamppost, and she giggles at his attempts.]

Unova... [She's heard quite a bit about other regions, but mostly that they're pretty far away.] It sounds like you're from somewhere else though. Any trainers from Kalos?

Umm... [This place wasn't as confusing as Lumoise, but she's still pretty new here. Nervous laughter.] I.. guess we're not! Any idea where we are?

I'm from Kanto. [ Though every other region that isn't Johto sounds pretty far from him. ] No. I think you're the first one.
