[So it happens that he was doing his own little exploration around the neighborhood. It didn't take him long to notice there was someone looking at him, how curious, could she be new as well? How strange her appearance was didn't bother him the least, it just made him more curious.]

Hey there~ what's up?

[ that assumption would be correct! her staring didn't mean to come off as so - she had just happened to lock gazes with him as she was surveying her surroundings. at the very least, it's good to see some kind of human life. ]

Not much. [ she shrugs, expression hidden beneath the high collar of her hoodie. ] But I have a question. What is this place exactly?

[It felt to him like this girl was hiding away her expression with her appearance, though that didn't mean he couldn't simply observe through her body language instead. So far, he could just chalk her up as bit of a shy character, but there's still more to observe.]

The fine print says Holly Heights. [He holds up a familiar lease.] But aside from that, beats me!

Though somehow, it's kind of feels like those old television series here, huh?
