[Out of the Mekasushi Dan he was sure the next would be their fearless leader! So imagine his happiness and surprise to see her here in the flesh. Though he knows the abuse will likely start soon. He swears he didn't do anything to cause any of this.

Kano walks up beside Kido, grinning.]

Fearless leader, he got you too?

[kakusu]

Kano?!

[ her emotionless expression breaks when she hears his voice. man, she could not be more relieved to see someone she knows - and it's Kano, at that! that meant that the rest of the Mekakushi Dan could be somewhere around... but for now, she'll need to reconvene with him alone. ]

What do you mean by "he"?

Yep!

[He chuckles to himself. A little proud he was able to surprise their ghost leader. Though he knows she is powerless as he is...it was annoying for Kano.]

The landlord, he wants us to be oooone big happy family! [He extends his arms on the 'one big happy' family thing.] Kukuku...he even gave me parents.

[kakusu]

[ he'd better not call her a ghost, unless he wants to see her turn into a dejected lump in a hoodie! she's not yet aware of her lack of powers, but it's only a matter of time. ]

So he's the guy responsible... I guess there's no use in asking him to send us back home, right? [ she'd be surprised if there was. that would just be too easy. ]

[Kido it's true! Still he prefers not to get himself beat up...at the moment. So he will try to be quiet.]

Good luck, people have tried. We go home when he makes us go home. [There is a small ting of annoyance to the words but he quickly covers it with a grin.] Plus there are more surprises here.

[ it's only a mater of time, Kano. just wait. ]

So we're stuck. [ she lets out a huff herself, but she watches Kano carefully as he speaks. she's known him long enough to be able to notice when he was acting off from his norm, and that was the feeling she got now - was he not using his power for some reason? that in itself was weird... ]

It'll be hard to top the surprise of getting kidnapped in the first place, but what else is there?

[He knows he will do something to get fussed at...and beat, he knows it.]

Pretty much. [The masks were his constant comfort and without them he felt weird. So he wouldn't be surprised for her to notice though not happy about it still.]

People being here from the past, is one thing. Oh and no powers.

The past... [ no, wait. that second thing. ] Wait, what? You had better not be lying-!

[ she looks taken aback for a moment before closing her eyes and focusing... and when she opens them? no good. the feeling she had when she activated her power just wasn't there. impossible. ]

...How?

I swear it's the truth. [Kano braces himself for a strike, it would be his luck that she would be the one person unaffected. Though when he sees it's still gone for her too he just shakes his head with his hands to the side.]

Haaa...not sure. The Landlord seems to be a rather interesting guy, if not a pain.
