She seems friendly enough -- and honest, too. But there's a difference between seeming and being and she has learned that even great lengths of time may not make it clear what kind of person someone really is when they need to get their hands dirty.

The real question is if she dips her hands in gleefully, puts on gloves, or has someone else do it for her.

"I can't say I'm particularly fond of either of those things." She means the latter half of what he was saying, of course. "Fair enough, but I also understand people who feel that there is never an option to do some of the things I have done. The only answer I can give as to why I have done them is because if I don't, others will have to." Despite everything, she loved to protect others. "If I don't take arm, it may breed another generation that will know nothing but war. With my actions, I hope to prevent that."

The idea of a world with no or little war, less monsters or just people who never were afraid to leave their homes. Children that wouldn't have to learn to wield a weapon to protect themselves as soon as they learn to walk. That's the world she fights for.
