[ This was, quite distinctly, not Lemuria. Nor was it her home, father waiting with open arms. Aurora had only closed her eyes for a moment to rest, pleasantly lulled by the shade of the tree, the rustle of the branches, and the knowledge of Rubella and Finn at her side, ready to protect her should some foul beast leap from the undergrowth.

Opening her eyes to somewhere else entirely, devoid of her friends, had been quite a shock. But Aurora went onward as gamely as ever, padding down the footpath. A young girl barefoot in a yellow dress and crown, fairy wings fluttering at her back: hardly something worth noticing. ]

The architecture is strange, yet familiar still.
Am I home in some strange idyll?
Or is this a dream...I am unarmed.
