TEST DRIVE MEME

HOW IT WORKS:

► STEP 1 | Post a comment with a character that's not in HH as if they're already in the setting; alternative version, post character who is in HH. Scenarios if you need 'em!
► STEP 2 | Tag around and get a feel for your characters, whether you're just voice testing or planning to actually app them in!
► STEP 3 | Post this all over your plurk and get people to join in on this jolly good fun. Don't forget: it's mandatory.

[ Stormer brings the cup to her lips, but pauses to speak. ]

I don't think the United Nations even knows this place exists. It's not... exactly located in a universe we're familiar with.

Hmph. [ She takes a sip of her own coffee. ] I'm sure that's what he would want you all to think.

[ Stormer takes a long sip. This conversation is far too familiar to her — just replace "Landlord" with "Jem" and there truly is no difference. It takes her a moment to respond after she places her cup down. ]

I—I'm not going to sit here and tell you things to change your mind, because it doesn't really work that way, but... if you think there's something worth looking into, then it might not be a bad idea to try. Just as long as the people who want to stay here can.

If they wish to stay cooped up in this gauche little prison, I am not going to stop them. But if there is a way out, I will find it.

Hopefully, I will be able to count on some useful people to assist me.

Um... you could ask the people who have been here longer? They might be able to help you figure something out, I guess. O—or at least where to start.

I may just do that.

[ But if she's to be believed, there's no rush. Setting down her cup, she signals with a flick of the hand for another, the gold of her watch gleaming. ]

[ Stormer's drinking her coffee when she watches the motion and says nothing for a few seconds before smiling a little bit. Excella's got tons more restraint than Pizzazz, but... well, everything else is there and it's hard to ignore. Then again, she hasn't spent a large amount of time with many wealthy people like she has with Miss Gabor, she's just come across them in the industry with no real interaction. It's hard not to compare the two. ]

Well... until then... [ Stormer places her drink down, then motions to her, palm outward. ] What do you do? A—As a career, I mean.

[ She spares the barista the merest of glances when he brings over the new cup, waiting until he has left before continuing to speak. ]

I am the regional director of Tricell Africa. It is largely a pharmaceutical conglomerate, but of course we have other interests as well.

Oh.

[ She has no idea what that is... or what pharmaceutical conglomerates really do besides the obvious, so she just chooses to listen and ask the appropriate questions. ]

Other interests? Like what...?

Shipping. Utilisation of natural resources. I'm sure the details would bore you, Ms Phillips.

Ah I don't think I'd understand much of it anyway... you sound like you're really into the humaniatarian part of it, though. That's nice.
