A couple of hours. From what I gathered, we were all brought here by a weirdly omnipotent landlord. Have you been here longer?

Nope! Just got here an hour ago. These houses are huge, aren't they? [ wait weren't they doing something.... who even knows. ] There's a bunch of other people here, though, who have. Have you seen Sugawara yet?

he shakes his head at the question. it figures that bokuto would have already run through the place collecting volleyball players.... ]

Should we go back to a house? We could probably just ask him anything else we need to know.

[ love him akaashi he tries so hard. ]

I've seen more people walking around. But we can probably go find Sugawara to ask him about it. It's nice outside too!

[ do you really want to try and keep him inside. ]

He mentioned papers, though. Did you get papers?

[ he loves you but first he has to tsundere about it. ]

I did. Have you checked your pockets?

[ okay, he's going to try and pry bokuto off him now so they can walk. in public. ]

[ okay well the peeling off of kind of works because bokuto also lets go to check his pockets. nope, nothing. ] Do you still have yours? I think I left mine back at the house. He said it explains more about what we're doing here!

[ look at you, being so proactive. 6/10 proud. akaashi pulls out the neatly folded papers from his pocket and holds them out to him. ]

bokuto slows to a stop to watch akaashi pull out the papers, taking them from him when they're held out and speed-reading through it. when he's done he just kind of shrugs and hands them back to akaashi. ]

Yeah not much in that. You still have your cell? [ gotta check up on his kohai after all. ] We're basically stuck here, but I'm not sure I believe that.

[mechanism]

[ he folds the papers back and shoves them in his pocket, showing bokuto his cell phone instead. ]

It doesn't work with numbers from home. [ a pause, thinking about that for a second. if there was someone to find a way out, it'd probably be bokuto, honestly. ] We should keep track of places we've checked for an exit.

[ bokuto's going to grab akaashi's cell anyway, despite how he definitely has his on him. somewhere. he thinks. ]

But it works with numbers around here, right? [ casually scrolling through it, no big deal. ] Yeah, I haven't gotten to the edge of town yet. [ not even looking up from akaashi's phone. ] Have you?
