LMAO THAT'S A GOOD QUESTION he did the friend carnival thing last month and he's kind of friends with iwaizumi next door and went to his birthday party and bought him at the date auction to do him a favor in much the same way that someone might buy a tank of lobsters to set them free

aside from that, probably spending a lot of time holed up in his room gradually reading through the library's entire romance section.... i figure he probably just didn't go to school since there were only a few weeks left and he wasn't ready to deal with it but HE WILL ABSOLUTELY BE THERE IN THE FALL
