THE HOUSING GATE. Somehow, some way, some idiot has just run into your yard with their car. Or maybe you're the idiot behind the wheel? Did you wreck a mailbox? Maybe even, dare I say, run into someone? Stranger things have happened.

THE SHOPPING GATE. For some reason the damned cashier NPC isn't anywhere in sight and you've got...well, whatever it is you've decided to buy. There's a line forming filled with people. No matter where you are, the register, the middle, or at the very end, you're surrounded by some pretty frustrated people.

THE PLEASURE GATE. You happen to have wandered into one of the more...adult establishments. You might perhaps be underage and if so you need not be there at all. No one is going to cart you off, though. Maybe you enjoy your strip club/bar/peep show or maybe it's completely repulsive to you. Do you stick around or make a run for it?

THE ALUMNI GATE. It's come time for the school festival! There are various booths, stands, activities, and all sorts of people milling about! What grade are you in? School? Are you sociable or withdrawn? Are you in charge of something? Crashing a party? You're full of youth and the world is yours for the taking!

WHATEVER YOU WANT, BRO. Use your imagination and get creative on your own terms! This doesn't count as being in game completely, so feel free to take some liberties with events that could have happened, people you could have met! Just remember to stick to game structure and the rules.

[ Jess stands at the side of the road, looking at the houses lining the street. He shoves his hands deep into his pants pockets and swallows hard, a sense of fear tightening itself around him. None of these houses look familiar to him.

Leslie would take it as some opportunity for adventure, say something about not being lost then give a big speech about how they were exactly where they should be. But he's not as brave as Leslie, especially when she's not around. So fear and worry? Totally evident ] Leslie? C'mon Leslie. This ain't funny no more.

[ This was supposed to be like any other day for Jess too, except for the part where he thought he was waking up to milk Miss Bessie and ended up waking up in some strange place.

Jess is drawn immediately to the sound of the voice. Even though the sound of the voice was all off, in his head he'd convinced himself that he'd see Leslie standing there. Needless to say, he's not surprised when he sees that it isn't. At least not surprised by the fact that it isn't Leslie. Everything else, though... ]

Hi. [ Jess tries to wipe the dumbstruck expression from his face, but it's no use ] So's this some sorta dream?

[ he'd say stranger things have happened to him but this place has been by far the strangest. ]

[ he hesitates and resists the urge to pinch himself just to be sure. ]

[ Sucking in a shaky breath and summoning all of his courage (he wouldn't be seen like some yellow-belly to some stranger), Jess takes a few steps toward the older boy to get a better look at him ] If this ain't some sorta dream, how can you look like me?

You... do actually look like me, don'tcha? [ He's not just seeing things right? Or maybe he does have a pretty good imagination like Leslie after all ]

[Taking a walk about town, Iris notices Jess. Never one to pass by someone in need, she cautiously approaches him with a kind smile.]

Hello there. Everything alright?

[ Jess offers her a tentative smile of his own though it doesn't last. He just sort of shifts back and forth from foot to foot and digs his hands deeper into his pockets ]

Yes ma'am. [ a beat ] Actually no ma'am. I think I might be lost.

[Her smile looks less confidant now as she take a look around.]

To be completely honest, I think I'm lost as well.

None of these places really look that familiar to you, either? [ This is certainly a less than comforting thought ] Kinda weird, ain't it? That neither of us knows where we are, I mean.

Very weird. I wonder if I'm just having a very odd dream on the plane ride home.

It seems to real to be a dream, though.

[ Jess thinks about that for a moment, then shakes his head. The very idea probably shouldn't make him so uneasy, especially since he knows that it isn't true ]

I don't think this is a dream ma'am. Can't really say why, except that it just doesn't feel like one.

[She nods, though not without frowning a bit.]

I think you're right. But if it isn't a dream, then something very strange is going on.
