➜ Double oop, someone else walked under at the same time.
➜ Maybe this is usual mistletoe and they can just joke about it and awkwardly shuffle off.
➜ Oooooor maybe it's cursed mistletoe and they can't leave until they kiss each other.
➜ Good luck with that!

_{[ She could never tell with him unless it was just the two of them if he was really having a good time or not. Haruka couldn't tell what was on his mind right now, but he did seem a bit more relaxed or content when she came up. ]}

[ Having fun... well, he would beg to differ. There were only differences in how bored he was at these sorts of social gatherings, but he wasn't about to tell that to her of all people. ]

No, not really--oh. Did I interrupt you doing something?

_{[ Haruka could always leave him to whatever he was doing at the moment if she was interrupting something. She was hoping to maybe just casually chat with him for a bit, at least. ]}

No. I wasn't doing anything.

[ In fact he was just spacing out, mostly. There's a slight bit of regret he has from not bringing a book or some work to do.

And then there is silence again while he tries to find something to say. ]

[ Tokiya looks surprised for a moment before he moves a little so he can see what's behind her. ]

No, there's nothing. [ Very strange. ] Not that I can see.

[ He's going to move forward a little and try to shove whatever was in there out of the way - only to find that he couldn't either. ]

_{[ Haruka looked like she was a bit panicked because she didn't know what was happening. She tried to push on thin air too, but ended up tripping back near Tokiya. ]}

_{[ She stepped forward, closer to him because she was starting to worry. ]}

[ The first thing he notices is how physically close they have become. He tries not to get bothered by it. ]

Seems like it. I should have checked the area for traps.

[ Frowning, he looks down at their feet. Nothing visible there. ]
