The government gives out food on a regular basis! The place I live and work at grow their own food underground, I think! Anything above ground aren't safe. But I guess you can say we're super poor, since unless we don't have proper protection, nothing survives outside!

[food, living space, also proper clothes... basically anything taking physical space has shortage when there's monsters who can't be killed running around eating everything. but hearing there's even more inside.. gets nana even more excited.]

There's more?! Oh gosh, how many God Eaters would you be able to feed with so much food in one place?!

That really...sucks. Why the hell would anyone stay in a place like that...

[Wow. Talk about a shit planet. Konami sort of feels bad for the girl's situation back home. Not that it really affects her or is her business. It's hard to understand Nana though. While Konami is sure she's a Neighbor, the word "government" makes it sound like she's talking about Earth. Did Neighbors have governments? What was a God Eater? ...At least Nana is cute.]

I don't know what the hell a 'God Eater' is.... but you should check the store out. C'mon.

[She moves to give Nana a good shove towards the store's entrance.]

I'm here to get some things for curry. But I'm in a good mood so I'll show you around if you want. Maybe there's something you like in there too.

[it's good that you didn't pursue in asking for nana to be more specific, because it would have taken forever for her to get a good answer out. she's already distracted enough with the store, her processing capacity is severely limited. as she's motioned to enter the store, she follows obediently before she hears the word "curry."]

Curry!! I think I heard a little bit about it from Mutsumi-chan! Isn't it with hard to make with so many different kind of ingredients?!?

[spices, nana. spices. but in a world where there's so little materials, using various kinds of spices is too much of a luxury for even god eaters.]

Uh...Maybe for some people but for someone like me there's nothing to it! I make the best curry!

[Konami stands proud, head up with a smug smirk on her lips as she leads Nana along. Sure it may all be self proclaimed but it's all true!]

If you're lucky maybe I'll make some for you sometime. Even as left overs its amazing!

[and to konami's self proclamation, nana returns with her genuine cheerful smile and compliment: ]

Wow, that's amazing! I'd love to try your cooking sometime, uhm...!!

[and then she realizes that she doesn't know who this girl is.] I'm Nana, by the way! What's your name?

[Now that's something Konami likes! She's so used to her teammates picking on her that the cheerful compliments come as a bit of a surprise.]

Oh~? We'll see then!

[The girl is cute; she'll make her some surely.]

Konami. Kirie Konami. I guess it's nice to meet you, Nana-chan. Just don't go around standing in door ways anymore, okay? Or I'll have to chop you.

[The God Eater actually earns a genuine smile from her.]

What kind of food do you like anyway, Nana-chan?

[nana gives another smile to konami's smile.] Nice to meet you too, Kirie!

[in a world where nationalities don't mean much, everyone calls each other by their given names. so that's what nana does without questioning it.]

And Roger! I will not stay standing at doorways next time! [she gives a salute to that before tilting her head.]

My favorite food? I like odenpan! It's my mom's specialty!

[That's a little forward. She doesn't mind it too much, figuring Nana may be a Neighbor and all. Still its strange to be called by her first name so quickly. No honorifics either. Anyone else and she would have given them a good bop on the head for the lack of respect. But Nana is cute so Konami will make a small exception...this time.]

Odenpan? Hmmm....I don't think I've had that before. Do you know how to make it, Nana-chan?

Oh! You haven't had it? It's soooo good! I can make it sometime in return of your curry, Kirie!!

[nana herself might not be a good cook most of the time, but the only thing she's able to make without failure is her favorite meal. what a weirdo.]

Deal! It better be as good as you say though, Nana-chan. Don't let me down.

[ Cat-girl, in little to no clothing, that doesn't know formalities or what groceries stores are and can only cook her favorite meal...she's just a check list of weird.]

We can get the ingredients for both while we're here. C'mon.

[Konami picks up one of the carry baskets. She doesn't need alot so a cart is unnecessary. With that she leads Nana through various aisles, picking up things as she goes. Each one having different kinds of food ect.]

[nana's impressed with how much of each type of item exists in one place. she wishes she can take this store back home... she wonders if the Landlord guy can do that.

anyways, she manages to collect her part of cooking ingredients, which included a few packs of hot dog buns and a bunch of oden ingredients.

it's the quantity she would normally be able to eat by herself, which definitely isn't the quantity she'd be able to eat now that her god eater powers are gone.]

Wow, they really have everything here! I don't have to run from one place to another to get all my things for odenpan!! I should've brought my bag!

[as she's carrying a bulk of it... nana doesn't know how a cart works.]

[Konami doesn't need too much either. She's only looking for things for one recipe after all. Her gaze shifts to Nana, blinking at how full her arms are. She holds her own basket out to her.]

Just...put it in here. It's easier to carry and you don't have to worry about dropping it.

Since this is your first time here....I'll treat you this once. But don't expect it as a norm. The world is tough and you have to be able to take care of yourself without relying on freebies.

[nana's giving the brightest smile and another salute... from behind the things she's holding, and follows after konami.]

!! [Konami's cheeks redden a bit at that, and she stiffens before waving her hand quickly]

Ah! You're sweet, Nana-chan. I am nice but you dont have to point it out like that!

[What is this girl; she's cute...Konami has to resist the urge to pinch her cheeks.]

But that is the attitude to have! [She smirks a bit, settling down a little.]

I'm sure you'll adjust to things in no time with little trouble.

[nana tilts her head] Why not? Isn't it good to point out good things to people? I like it when people compliment me!

It's embarrassing...at least a little! But you do make me happy, Nana-chan. [It's been awhile since Konami actually enjoyed being around someone without having to worry about them teasing her. This was nice.] It is good when you mean it! Lot of people will give compliments when they're trying to get something out of you. You have to be careful!

[ Konami moves to check out, paying for the items once they're scanned and bagged by the casher]
