[The deer takes a step or two away from Flavio and Arianna, still intent on devouring the entire lawn.]

Okay, now!

[Flavio makes a break for it, keeping an eye on the deer, ready to drop the garbage can over himself if it sees him. He can only hope that Arianna's following suit.]

[Don't worry she is. As soon as they enter the trash bin she makes a strange face. ]

What's that grotesque smell? Perhaps this wasn't such a wise idea after all.

[Now she's a little disappointed, but hey. At least they deer won't catch them here. They're safe for now. It'll stay that way until one of them decides to move.]

I-It's still better than getting gored by that thing!

[That "thing" is still preoccupied with eating, though it's moved onto a flower garden by now.

...It does smell pretty bad, though, now that she mentions it. He hadn't been entirely sure what these huge cans were for, but he's starting to get some idea, now...there's no city garbage disposal in High Lagaard, so garbage cans this big aren't really a thing, but in High-Tech Future Land maybe they just make more trash? So it follows they'd need...bigger trash cans...

...Part of him considers just not telling Arianna, but he'd feel worse about that. She's sort of a sheltered person, so isn't it part of his job as her escort to make sure she's aware of her surroundings...]

...Uh...that said, I'm pretty sure we're hiding in the garbage, so...sorry about that. Desperate times call for desperate measures, and all.
