Ok so the thing is while Murasa has some sort of twisted pride about her past (because she made a huge name for herself sinking ships) there's a part of her that feels guilty about it because wow wow she sure did end countless lives!! Well most of the guilt comes from Hijiri's massive disapproval but anyways. While Murasa is proud about her power, her moralities and ethics are kinda convoluted considering her nature as a murderous youkai and her current living situation.

She is starting to learn tho!! She's less reckless about drowning people (even if she talks about it a lot) and is more open to talking to humans even if they hate/fear her. So no, she's not really worried about reverting back to what she used to be pre-Hijiri. Murasa still goes around being a hazard to humans, yeah, but that ancient spite and rage probably won't be dredged up ever again. She has more control over herself now and stuff.
