[From an idol to a waiter at a coffee shop. Ren's not really happy about this change, but at least it's a job that seems to fit him well. At least he got to make customers happy and look good. It could be worse. He could be some kind of a storage manager something where he couldn't appeal with his looks.

Besides, he could still sing and perform from time to time, it wasn't like he needed to stop just because he was here.

[It seems like she's been having a recent surge of idols working for her, and it could be Natsuki's fault. Since Natsuki always talks about these losers and how great they are! So Ren was easily recruited. He should thank Natsuki for stopping him from ending up in a storage manager life (not that there is no heavy lifting of flour here).

She has observed his business strategy of flirting with customers, which rolls in quite a bit of money. At least he's more amiable than Tokiya? So when she approaches him during his break--]

[Ren really is grateful for Natsuki and Vietnam for getting this chance to work at the place. He would have really been at a loss, had he gotten a job that only used muscle and made him smell bad. Lifting flour was not a problem at all.

He smiles when he's talked to and nods as he stops humming the song.]

Yes, that's right. I work in the same band as Natsuki.

[ Tokiya doesn't work here, but he's become a frequent visitor when he's not practicing or working his own job at the bookshop.

So he would enter this time without as much as a word, pull up a chair in the most unobtrusive corner of the cafe, and start reading.

<sub>[ Kotori happened to be visiting the coffee shop to get some kind of pastry that she liked a lot since she wasn't much of a coffee drinker. She was on her way out the door when she heard someone humming, which wasn't too unlikely here or anything, but it was a voice she hadn't heard before! She couldn't help but stop and look around for the source of the nice voice.

Of course then she realized that the humming was coming from this guy, who looked like he was on break, and that...she was staring. Oops, maybe he even noticed her staring while he was humming? Kotori got a little embarrassed and decided to apologize just in case he happened to notice her! ]</sub>

U-Um...sorry!! I didn't mean to...ah--That was a really nice song!!

[Ren hadn't noticed anyone watching him, so to be apologized to had him confused. After seeing the person behind the voice, Ren smiled with a bright smile. What a cute girl.]

It's not a problem at all. If I would have wanted privacy, I wouldn't be humming here. [More like, he did that unconsciously sometimes, no matter what time and place.] But thank you, for the compliment.

[Being here was still really weird but he's slowly getting used to all of it at least! It was made easier when he actually knew people here, even if it seems silly to be brought to a world where they were meant to live normal lives. They already did that back home after all, right?

Out looking about Yamaguchi was curious to see just how many people he knew were here or to meet some other people too.

[Being in this place without Yamaguchi had thrown Tsukishima off-balance, now now that he was here, everything felt right again. They didn't always do everything together, so he'd been out running errands for the household (he was the responsible one, so Gintoki sometimes left him to-do lists) and decided to take a break to get something to drink.

That was when he spotted Yamaguchi, seemingly very intent on the cute keychains that were part of the store's display. He approaches quietly, looking over the other's shoulder to get a look at them.]

Ahaha all good as long as you have starbucks!

[They were together often but not all the time, even if some would refuse to believe that. Yamaguchi was fine functioning by himself and so was Tsukki, they had a relationship where they could be together or apart and be fine. It was a good kind of friendship to have.

Out on his own he didn't expect Tsukki to find him as he held up the keychain, looking at it. It was really cute. When he heard the voice he jumps a little and fumbles with the charm hiding it behind his back.]

Tsukki!? Oh...you scared me. [He laughed it off lightly.]

That's when she heard a familiar voice...throwing a tantrum over who knows what. At first, it took her a moment to register just who the voice belonged to, but once she saw the girl standing there, she knew immediately.

Nico was here now! This made her so excited to see another one of her friends show up to the point where she wasn't even paying attention to what Nico was saying or...acting so angry about. She just waved and picked up her pace to approach her friend. ]</sub>

[Nico nearly jumps in surprise when she hears her name, and she turns on her heel in slight embarrassment to see her fellow idol. She laughs loudly, awkwardly, and waves a little.]

K-Kotori! [Please don't say you saw all that... please don't. Nico didn't think anyone was nearby, so she let herself freak out a little over this new place...

But Kotori doesn't look all that worried?? What the heck??]

Wait, what do you mean I'm here? Am I supposed to be here?

_{[ That girl. Really if it wasn't one thing it was another. Nozomi wondered what in the world it was that set off another of Nico's famous tantrums. She doesn't waste any time in approaching her friend, a smile on her face and her hands poised for punishment. ]}

[Nico is screaming on the inside. But she forces a smile, and her hands go up to her head in her signature Nico pose.]

[ Tokiya usually doesn't pay attention to people unless they talk to him first, but this is an exception. Because Nico's screaming is extremely distracting, and he's Busy Doing Important Things like reading and taking notes. ]

[ His words are enunciated with biting perfection, and it's evident that he's annoyed. ]

[Natsuru's out in the housing gate, possibly walking to run some errands, when she comes across a tiny bundle of pink. That... sure is a younger girl looking really lost and scared! Cautiously, Natsuru approaches, as if Nico were a deer that might run away at the sight of her. Except the clicking of heels on the sidewalk gives her away, so Nico can clearly tell she's coming.]

[Her voice is gentle, hopefully calming. She just wants to help!]

[He sure looks angry while he's hitting those balls that's been thrown out by the machine... Was he trying to let his frustration out? After a while he notices you around, and stops batting as he glares over at you.]

[Bookstore! Jun reads a fairly good amount.... of manga! Usually his siblings would be the one getting the manga he reads, but they weren't around anymore. So instead he's awkwardly looking around in the store, in search of a book...

He kind of looks like a lost puppy there.]

C;
[School-- Jun, even though he had retired from the baseball team back home, still had some regular school life left, which meant studying. Sure, there may be some temptation to "slack off" per say, but Jun was the type of person to take on responsibilities seriously like a responsible upper class man.

...But that didn't mean he would be good at studying, though.

Jun's sitting at his desk, brows furrowed as he stared down at his assignment, like he was trying to burn a hole into the piece of paper.]

[Congratulations to Jun for figuring out that the place labeled as Moe Moe Funtime Haven would probably be the best place for his shoujo manga fix, but not so much for doing so still during Daichi's first week.

[oh jesus christ-- It took a lot of effort just to get into the store with such a cutesy name, but to actually get someone asking him what he wanted was going to be another thing. Not that Jun wasn't expecting someone to call out to him, but it would have been nice if he had gone unnoticed.

He instinctively furrows his brows as he glares at Daichi.]

NO. I'm good.

[He knows he needs to indoor voice; it was just so hard not to yell back.

After he responds, Jun walks off, hoping that's a good enough of a sign to leave him alone.

...Except that now it's even more awkward for him to find and pick out the manga he wants to get.]

[ There are some sounds you never forget, and Jun's yelling is definitely... near the top of the list for his underclassmen.

Admittedly, Kazuya's awful snickering is probably on that list for everybody else, and that's what Jun gets before Kazuya, at the entrance to the batting center's back cages with his bag over his shoulder, actually speaks up. ]

You're gonna scare everybody else out of the batting cages, Jun. [ He grins. ]
