[ And here Erika was doing peanut butter swelly on her late afternoon walk. But the voice catches Erika off guard and now she's left looking around at her surroundings. Once she realizes it's just her and a mystery dood, her stomach sinks once Erika spots the baseball. ]

Eh?? Me? So suddenly?!

[pluvial]

[ aw, don't look so traumatized! his grin is friendly as he waves briefly-- ]

Yeah, you! Have you ever played baseball?

[chant]

Baseball? [ Give her a second to get roped into shenonogons. ] Does Tee ball or cages count for me? But if you're talking about being on a team then no way.

Those are a good start! And it's cool if you've never been on a team before, haha. If you're willing, we can just play a simple game of catch?

[ look he just wants to play ball with someone ok. ]

All right! [ She huffs and gets to walkin' towards him all tiny-girl-tough-guy-like yeaaaa ] Somehow your stirring speech has lit a flame in my heart, or something along those lines. I've heard it on some hot-blooded show before, so give me a glove already!

If you don't mind me asking, what was up with wanting to play catch-ball all of a sudden? I was on a walk when you were calling out an 'are you ready'. [ all part of her plan to get PUMPED. she takes the glove and gives it a good fist pap for good measure... get cha head in the game!! ]

Not much, really! I was on my school's baseball team back home, so... I guess I just missed playing it, haha.

No, no! It's fine, besides was one of those spur-of-the-moment kind of walks. I need creativity is what! Haha, though who knows, playing some catch and throw might inspire me, too.
