EVERYONE GET IN THE CAR, it's TEST DRIVE TIME!

WHAT THE FUCK TO DO:
► STEP 1; Post a comment with a character that's not in HH as if they're already in the setting or alternative version, post character who is in HH. Scenarios if you need them!
► STEP 2; Tag around and get a feel for your characters, whether or not you're voice testing or planning to actually app them in!
► STEP 3; Post this all over your plurk and get people to get their big asses in here and force them to app or face the consequences. Oh, and I guess have fun. I suppose that's important, too.

[he can't be certain, having never seen them with his own eyes before. He's currently curled tight in the shade of them, however]

but he's going to try anyway. )

( several seconds pass--and heine sends along another message. )
i'm going to need you to give me more to look for than that
theres too many of them

Eventually he stands however, head tipped forward to hide the tear-tracks streaking his face]

( listen he isn't a miracle worker. )

( do you remember the last time he tried to do something to that extent.
do you. )

The delay this time is longer, stretching out over several minutes as he tries to gather enough courage to move-- it's difficult, and he's shaking, feeling too open and far too exposed in this unrecognisable place with no gun, none of his siblings, nothing.
But eventually he edges out of the shadows of his shelter just far enough to make out the number on the door, and once he's discerned it he's texting it over to Heine before retreating to the cover of the shade again]

sit tight
( it's not hard to realize there's a pattern to the numbers just like there had been to the doors to their rooms-- 66, 67, 68 all lined up neatly in one hallway. and heine knows how to count, knows his numbers decently enough so it's only a matter of time before he finds himself in front of the house giovanni had specified, fingers wrapped firmly around the wooden end of a mailbox he'd managed to pull out of the ground. )
Giovanni?

[Those are instructions he can follow. He does sit tight, curled up small in the meager shelter provided by the hedgerows with his knees pulled right up to his chin, face buried in the crook of his arm. He counts the swift beatings of his heart while he waits for Heine to find him (onetwo, onetwo), forces himself not to think of where they are, what this means for them.
This place. It's too different. It can't be right.
When he hears his name called out in Heine's voice he quickly uncurls however, shakily gets to his feet, raises a hand in an effort to attract the other boy's attention. Relief rushes warmly through his chest, takes the edge of his razor-blade fear. A temporary respite perhaps, but respite nonetheless]
H-Heine!

they're not staying behind a bush they have shit they need to do people to find. he isn't hiding or staying put, not when he hasn't found lily yet. )
Come on. We still have to find Lily.

[Hesitation, a slight trembling of his lip and a tightening of his arms around himself as Heine makes no move forward, as he makes it clear that hiding won't be an option. It's expected of course, and if Lily is here with them Giovanni wants to find her too, butt he prospect of wondering around in this strange (too open too bright too clean) place-- it frightens him.
Still. This is Heine. Heine wouldn't let anything happen to him (just a flickerflash of jealousy, whitehot, but it's gone almost as soon as it arose)]
O-okay...
[And tentatively he moves to stand close to his older brother]

he's gotten what he came this way for, and there's no need to stick around when giovanni hadn't even answered him when he asked if he had seen lily. so he turns around, drags him off in the direction he came from. )
