Kagura-chan, you're here too? Did that landlord marry you off as well? [If so, Tae might have to find this guy and seriously teach him a lesson. There are boundaries, boundaries.]

[ She nods slowly, still eyeing that plate. ]

My new sisters go to school, and Gin-chan has a job sometimes. I was sick so I couldn't go aru. Ah, Anego! I have to show you something!

[ She grabs Tae's free hand, and pulls her inside and toward the kitchen. She grins, because this will definitely get her out of eating what's on that plate! ]

If you aren't feeling well, would you like me to make you some rice porridge? [Because it's not as if she's sick enough as is.

Tae follows her obediently into the kitchen, glad to see that Kagura is still in good spirits.] What is it?

It's okay! Miu-chan left food for me aru, look!

[ She heads over to the freezer and pulls it open. She steps back and waves her hands airily like a model on a game show. The whole freezer is packed full of Tae's favorite ice cream.

In her mind, Kagura is hoping beyond all hopes that it makes her forget about other kinds of "food". ]

XD Yessss. I want them to do a bunch of horrible things okay?

[... Kagura knows her way too well. For a moment, Tae is frozen. How in the world...?]

Kagura-chan, it's not okay to steal. [Because there's no other way they could have stocked the freezer like this. Still, she'll be setting down her food on a nearby countercrisis averted \o/ and will be taking a closer look.]

Anego, it's from the store that has free food aru! Anyone can go take some! It's like regular shopping, but we don't have to only eat egg on rice when we get home aru.

I would apologize to HH but. Gintama. Enough said.

[Free ice cream?! Tae is really delighted with this turn of events, and is practically beaming.]

That's great Kagura-chan! I hope that even though we- you can eat all the ice cream you like, you have still been eating other healthy foods. [She's not fooling anyone. Tae is going to balloon back up at this rate and have to go back to one of those boot camp weight loss places.] Since you're not feeling too well, would having some Haagen-Dazs help?

yeah, they're probably used to it... especially since some of them are worse :'D

I think the only way I can get better is for us to clear these ice creams out aru! That way we can make room for the bagel bites. Those are very healthy.

I don't know if that makes me feel better or worse haha

Well... So long as you don't mind... [Even though Kagura is obviously fine with them both pigging out on all this ice cream, Tae will feel terrible just eating all of it without at least giving something in return.] And I'll be sure to repay you with more of my own dishes. I don't think bagel bites have enough vegetables in them... [Or even at all.]

[ After procuring spoons, she hands one off to tae, and sits to dig in herself. But she freezes when there's talk of repayment. ]

Well, Miu-chan got all these, it's probably better if she gets repayed aru. Plus, she's used to having a normal family back home, so I bet she misses that kind of meal.

[ Please please please make Miu eat it instead. Kagura has so much more that she wants to do with her life!! ]

[Tae's too busy enjoying all this ice cream to notice Kagura's reaction.]

Miu-chan? Is she one of your family members here? [Kagura did mention having sisters, and the landlord seemed pretty keen on setting up family units.] Of course I'll make sure she's properly fed, but I wouldn't want you to have to miss out.
