[Rio occasionally makes trips into the pet store to buy things for her bird, which Ryouga still cannot convince her to get rid of. Today in particular, she's eying the puppies in the store (it's like window shopping, except with animals, of course), a small bird toy and a bottle of fish food for Ryouga in her hands, when her gaze falls on someone more familiar.]

...Oh.

[Not the most intelligent thing to say at first. She straightens up, puts on a frail smirk, and glances aside to the puppies again, trying to seem unruffled.]

[Thomas is a little to busy with his task at hand to notice her or her exclamation at first - at least until she speaks up properly. He looks up then, and he may or may not look like he got caught with the hand in the cookie jar for just a split second, before he shrugs.]
