[ Yuma happened to be walking by, he checked the list every day and found familiar names, so he was going to hurry around to find them. When he saw Alit, he immediately hurried of and grinned to him ]

Alit!

[alioth]

Huh?

[That voice.

It couldn't be.

But he looks up and what starts as a slow stirring of confusion erupts into a broad grin as he jumps to his feet again. His very eyes are alight for the first time since he arrived.]

Yuuma!

[Yep. This is just about the best thing that could have happened under any and all circumstances.]

You're okay! [ Yuma jumps and throws an arm around Alit's shoulders, grinning greatly. He had been worried about Alit since the last he saw him ]

I can't believe you're here!

[alioth]

Of course I am.

[He replies quickly but a shadow passes over his face as it dawns on him what that could really mean. He was worried about that too... but he hardly had time to be bothered by it with Yuuma here now. Instead he casually sneaks his arm under his rivals, bringing it to rest on his opposite shoulder.]

Man I'm glad to see you too. I still can't figure out what here even is.

[kattobings]

It's Holly Heights! It's kind of boring sometimes, because we can't duel, but it's fun in it's own way! [ Yuma grins at the arm, he's really really relieved and it's evident. He couldn't believe that Alit was here!! ]

[alioth]

[Right. Holly Heights. The letter mentioned something like that. It probably would have helped if he bothered to read it more closely. Unfortunately Yuuma had said something of far greater concern.]

Eh?? What do you mean we can't duel!?

[That they can't duel is only half the surprise. This was his rival saying so. How could he just admit to something like that so casually? Sorry, Yuuma Alit is gonna be sticking his other hand against your forehead now.]

Are you okay?

[ Yuma laughs as he pushes Alit of his forehead, grinning to him even more. ] Of course, I'm okay! The thing is that the Landlord guy, he took all our stuff, including our decks! I've just gotten my key back a little bit ago.

[ Yuma holds it up for Alit to see. ] No one really knows why he takes it, but he does! He gives it back though, if you ask.

[Oh. Alit stares for a moment. So that means... he gives himself another once over only to find that his deck was indeed missing. How had he not noticed before? It’s true that the things have been a bit crazy but man Durbe would never let him hear the end of that if he knew. Or Mizael. Maybe not Gilag. Probably. He sighs at the thought and a frown mars his features.]

This really is a pain. If we’re stuck here it would be nice to duel. I still have to beat you.

[If he seems resigned it’s only because Yuuma’s presence made leaving a bit less of a concern.]

I agree. It gets really boring without getting to duel anyone. [ Yuma kind of makes a frown too, but then grins widely at the comment about beating him. He then gives Alit a light push, just playing around. ]

Who said anything about you beating me?!

[alioth]

Obviously I'm going to be the one to beat you.

[Alit knocks shoulders with Yuuma, nudging him right back. Maybe not now, but someday.]

So where is this landlord guy? The first thing I gotta ask for is my deck.

Don't know! I tried finding his place with my friend Ion, but I couldn't find it! [ Almost petulance is here...]

You'll never beat me in a duel! [ A grin now as he nudges back. ]

[alioth]

What was that? [Now you've done it Yuuma. You better act fast if you don't want to find yourself in a headlock. This is way more important than any landlord obviously.]

That sounds like a challenge to me!

[kattobings]

[ Yuma's lucky he's so flexible since he bends back slightly to dodge getting in the headlock, grinning at Alit. ]

Of course it's a challenge!!

[The miss causes Alit to stumble a few steps though he rights himself quickly, turning to face Yuuma. He casually tosses his arms behind his head.]

I guess we have time for that though. I didn’t think I’d see you again so soon. [He’s glad though. More than glad and the swelling in his chest overlays the bittersweetness of his previous defeat.]

I didn't think so either! But it's good to know you're okay. [ Yuma beams at him. He really had been worried about Alit; he felt like they really connected during their duels, especially during the last one. Alit was an honest person, despite being a Barian. ]
