WHAT THE FUCK TO DO:
► STEP 1; Post a comment with a character that's not in HH as if they're already in the setting or alternative version, post character who is in HH. Scenarios if you need them!
► STEP 2; Tag around and get a feel for your characters, whether or not you're voice testing or planning to actually app them in!
► STEP 3; Post this all over your plurk and get people to get their big asses in here and force them to app or face the consequences. Oh, and I guess have fun. I suppose that's important, too.
reposted from the like five different people who gives a crap at this point, you get the picture. posted with mod permission b/c i am the mod.

You make it sound as if it'd be a challenge for you.
[Of course it's muttered mostly to herself than anything else but still, he wouldn't have to strain too hard to hear it. She walks towards the empty mats, steps a slow gait, and stands oposite of him and readies herself in a starting position. Honestly, the reality that she (or on the off chance, Alit) might walk away injured isn't in the forefront of her mind. She just wants to know if she's made any improvements in his eyes.]

[Yeah, he caught that that and he wasn’t about to let it slide. It may be true -- really there was no doubt about it -- but skill wasn’t the only thing that mattered to him after all. Kotori was witness to a few of his duels now and she shouldn’t expect him to treat sparing any differently.
Alit drops the water bottle by the corner of the mat, completely disregarded as he treads after her with his hands draped casually behind his head. Standing across the mat, he exhibits a rather contradictory image to Kotori's earnestness, amused by her determination.]
Guess I spoke to soon.
[And he drops right into the fighters stance, feet apart, knees bent, one hand up to guard, the other lowered in preparation to strike.] Ready?

But Kotori hasn't forgotten his words to her uttered statement and, a bit sheepishly, she smiles at him.]
You're right! It'll be fun.
[When he asks her, she gives him her signal she used for practice: a two finger salute on her right hand and a curt nod. (Not really part of anything traditional, just something she added in; he never seemed to mind.) Her feet slide against the mat as she moves forward, tightening her fist and raises it level to her face, bringing up her other arm as a guard. How did those one go? It was a basic move, right?
Quickly, she snaps her arm forward and aims for his temple with the back of her hand, finding herself breathing through her nose and grinning all in the same second. Her other arms falters as a guard as she shifts her feet, trying to move quick enough but really, she's certain in the next second he'll block and counter attack.]

He can take his time with her, fending off the first strike with one arm and brushing it aside. A block here, sharply pivoting there. He still manages to throw in a few feints as well, marking some of the holes in her defense as plainly as if they had been painted in red. He's not just going easy on her, he wants to see if she'll notice, and how she'll respond. He wanted Kotori learn something after all.
When the time is just right, there's a shift in his form, and a spark in his eyes. He moves in, one, two quick steps and brings the left arm up to defend his front and distract from the lightning quick flash of his right fist that sneaks in from below, a jab aimed right at her lower torso. It would be hard to block but if she was fast there was still a chance to dodge.]

But then she notices a look in his eyes unlike Yuma's when he sees a chance to grab and take and run and she's instantly flicking her gaze to his left arm, focusing on his defense a little too much until she catches his right fist rearing up, aiming at a open position on her torso. It's too quick for her to completely dodge, Kotori's steps slow for a second as she resists faltering and focuses on brushing away his fist with her forearm; in a real match, he'd have a point for sure, she knows that much at the very least. Yet she doesn't stop her movements and she brings her arm down and turns her open side away from Alit, instead leaning forward and feinting a punch to his chest while twisting her feet on her heels and stepping around, working on getting a quick jab into his side with her right arm, her left gaining defense at her chest.
Hopefully he'll take the bait and focus on her feint but considering he's her teacher, she has him moves, it's likely a not so possible possibility. But hey, she's smiling all the while, the sense of fun she's feeling obvious in her expression despite the flush in her cheeks at the exercise.]
