Hawahh--! [ IT'S A GIANT TEDDY BEAR, WHAT EVEN IS THIS. and why the heck is he standing on a foot stool?

Kazumi approaches him somewhat hesitantly and then reaches out and gives him a small shove with both her hands, just to see if he'll topple over or stay where he is.

Is this a stuffed toy or a costume...? ]

[ sorry, kazumi, teddie is going to be mimicking that screaming as he topples over onto the floor from the shove. fortunately teddie's suit is a suitable cushion, so the pain is not of particular note, but the current problem is the fact he's stuck on his back like a turtle.

a stuffed toy wouldn't be wiggling so much in an attempt to get back upright, would it, kazumi? ]

[ OH GOD IT'S ALIVE WHAT IS GOING ON HERE

Kazumi just stares with an expression of complete and utter bafflement on her face. Is this some kind of weird prank? She stares down at Teddie, looking unsure as to if she should offer him a hand up or not. ]

Wh--what the heck are you supposed to be? You're not a witch, are you? [ DOES SHE GOTTA KICK YOUR ASS TEDDIE? ]

You knock me over and then-- and then-- [ a huff, as he continues to wiggle. this is hard work, all right, don't judge. he sounds rather winded. ] --and then you call me a witch?! How rude!

[ swinging forward, swinging back, and side to side before he continues on. ]

I'm a bear! A bear on his back!

Y--you're the rude one! Coming into someone's house and standing on their footstools! That's rude no matter how you look at it! [ SHE'S STILL A LITTLE BIT FREAKED OUT, OKAY TEDDIE.

but she's not mean enough to just leave him rolling around on his back like a stunned tortoise, so she hesitantly reaches out a hands then takes hold of Teddie's.... paw? yeah, sure let's go with paw -- and pulls him to his feet. ]

What were you doing, anyway?

... Woah, you've got a point. That is kinda rude.

[ and while he says this like it's a sudden epiphany, so clear, so true... he doesn't actually apologize. but his surprised silence does get knocked to the side by kazumi's help, a smile on his face as he's helped upright. ]

Thaaank you! [ now he's shaking his feet, as if he's been down on the ground for ages. ] And if you really must know, before you knocked me down I was looking for some beary important people. My friends! And... [ leans in a little closer, in a hush: ] The Lessrawr.

yes. he was looking for all of this... in kazumi's house. ]

[ yup, she's confused all over again. Kazumi furrows her brow, trying to think if she's heard of that particular person before -- she can't help with finding his friends, seeing as she doesn't even know where to begin looking, but if he wants to find somebody already here then maybe she can help! ]
