[ Shrine maidens should stick together. And since Reimu's the senpai here, that means she gets to use Sanae as she sees fit. That's Reimu's thought process. Well, sort of. She just knows she can get away with it. ]

So, we're shopping together now. [ She states matter of factly. Still not mentioning that this is the first time she's seen Sanae. ]

I just got here a few days ago! And yeah, I need cleaning supplies. We don't have much right now in the way of those.

[ That's good because if Sanae had shown up not used to it, it would be a major pain for Reimu to reteach Sanae her place. ]

Well, if you're buying all this cleaning stuff, then aren't you happy to have the chance to use them?

I don't think so. Marisa and Asbel don't seem like the types to buy that sort of stuff. [ Asbel being Reimu's husband, while Marisa is her daughter. And girlfriend! ]

Can't you do me a favor? [ There it is, trying to get Sanae to do everything for her! ]

I'll pay you back with alcohol. We have plenty of that.

[ When there's only one other person with the same job as Sanae in the entirety of Gensokyo, and is as strong as Reimu is, it's no surprise she looks up to Reimu as her senpai. Or something like that. Likely not that at all.. ]

Alright. [ Yeah, she's not going to pay attention. But she got Sanae to agree. ]

You shouldn't be so afraid of drinking. It's a natural thing to do. And we're not Buddhists or Taoists, we can drink as much as we want. It's the closest you can be to the Gods you know.

[Dream on, Reimu. ... Well okay Sanae DOES kind of look up to her a little, only because Reimu's a year older than her and has been in Gensokyo longer. But those are literally the only two reasons.]

I'm not afraid of drinking. I just choose not to do it. There's a difference.

What's the point in not drinking? It's what everyone else does.

[One day, the Moriya Shrine will take over and-- well, not really. Sanae doesn't really care about which shrine gets the most visitors. She'll just leave that to Kanako to bicker about with Suwako and the others.]

Everyone else in this town could drink and I still wouldn't.
