[ So, Tharja is showing up late with Starbucks.

Except not really. She was teleported to this world that seemed void of magic and her precious avatar. On top of that, she was forced her hand in marriage to someone unworthy!

For right now, she's taking things slowly. And by slowly, I mean tracing down the aisles of the grocery store in an attempt to find a few specific items scribbled on her list.

She sounds like a mad woman, completely unimpressed with the high selections of quality goods. ]

Where is the eye of newt and chicken's broth!?

[ She's so disgruntled, at least she could maybe find one of them here... ]

Ugh. This is so troublesome...

[ ah...! someone she knew very well, and enough she knew her exact intentions of wanting such items. to be honest the very thought sends a chill down her spine... likely even the goddess could not figure out what her mother wishes to do with it exactly.

still.. it would be even worse to let the annoyance linger and grow to frustration. the sooner her mother got her list, the better. ..she likes to think, anyways. but there's really no saying. ]

I-If it's eye of newt and chicken's broth that you want.. there's a store close by that is likely to have it. I can show you.. if you want. [ it never ceases to not make her nervous still, but at least she was trying. ]

[ Tharja was well aware that her powers weren't working. All of the dark arts she dedicated her life too ... they weren't accessible! A few days of being here didn't tame her, but instead she decided to try one last thing: potions. If those worked, she'd be good for now.

The faint voice made her darkened gaze snap to Noire. Tharja had to swallow the fact that this was apparently her daughter, but having her mouse around? She was interested in what plan Noire had for her. Certainly it wasn't "family bonding". ]

Hm... If I plan on finishing this mixture before sunset, that will be the only way. [ She sounds unhappy. ] Why are you trying to help me? Your intentions better be good.

[ Noire flinches like a mouse trapped in a tiny space with a cat, after all the dark gaze just sends cold shivers down her spine so strong that she has to fight to not let it show. While she knows her mother wouldn't do anything to harm her, well in ways proven very harmful that is, intentional experiments are certainly not included in that.

However, she does want to prove useful to her mother.. and with Noire having the upper-hand after having been here before- well, she can certainly do at least that much.] W-Why? I.. don't- [ I don't see why she shouldn't be? No, she definitely shouldn't be saying that. She also wants to say it's because she's her mother.. but she's afraid the Dark Sorceress is still getting use to that idea. ] I.. just want to be helpful to you. It's, the least I can do..

[Natsuru's just minding her own business. Nothing to see here. But...]

[ Tharja wasn't the most suitable when it came to being creepy. Wanting outrageous and downright gross things from a normal grocery store gained a lot of attention.

She hears Natsuru's inquiry and she spins in her direction. ]

You. Are you spying? Who do you work for?!

Eh?! S-spying?

[The accusation is so sudden, Natsuru has no idea how to respond!]

I don't... why would someone be spying on you?

[ Tharja was a little defensive. This "Lessor" was definitely untouchable. Not even the biggest hex of all could touch him. It was a shame. She glares, taking the few steps closer to the girl. ]

Why would I be kidnapped and brought here? The same reason - to keep tabs on me.

[ She isn't usually over paranoid but she isn't quite social as people would be. ]

Ugh. You don't look like any sort of assassin or spy... a bit too normal. [ Her disgust with that last word is obvious. ]

[Well... Natsuru can at least understand why someone new would be suspicious. But that doesn't make this any less awkward.]

Y-yeah, that's me... totally normal!

[The nervous laughter isn't helping.]

But, um... well... everyone here was kidnapped, kind of, so...

[ Tharja narrows her eyes a bit, still holding her own reservations about anyone but herself here. ]

Yet you settle so easily? [ Something isn't right. This place is too normal. ] My magic doesn't work, my tome is missing, and there isn't a single Eye of Newt on the shelf. Yippee.
