TEST DRIVE MEME!

SO HOW DOES IT WORK?

► STEP 1; Post a comment with a character that's not in HH as if they're already in the setting; alternative version, post character who is in HH. Scenarios if you need 'em!
► STEP 2; Tag around and get a feel for your characters, whether you're just voice testing or planning to actually app them in!
► STEP 3; Post this all over your plurk and get people to join in on this jolly good fun. Don't forget: it's mandatory.

copypasting and whatnot

[Cheren still totally goes to the petting zoo all the time, don't even worry about that. The animals there were different from the ones in the pet store, okay, and it wasn't like he could interact with the animals in the real zoo for whatever reason.

Currently? Cheren is feeding a baby goat, mostly because the goat had started following him when he showed up.]

Some of these seem like they'd be a bit harder to have as pets, though. [like the goat.]

still hating the Ferris Wheel I see

[Good, good, he'll have company from now on then, because Bianca will spend lots of time here as well. Hard to resist so much cute.

Bianca carefully puts the rabbit on her shoulders before turning to her friend.]

Do you really think so, Cheren? Why? Has that not-Cobalion done anything, like, dangerous? Ah! It didn't bite you, did it?

yes forever

[personal profile] stoutland 2014-04-05 03:16 am (UTC)(link)
[Cheren would turn to face her, but it's kind of hard to when turning means the goat moves around to get a better grip on that bottle. It's easier to just stay where he's at and let the goat do its thing.]

Well no, but I've seen some of them headbutt other people in the pen. [It may have happened to him once a while back, too...]

They don't seem like they'd adapt well to being inside a house.

good thing she's coming to fix that then

[personal profile] futureprofessor 2014-04-05 03:31 am (UTC)(link)
Aww, but that doesn't hurt! Maybe we could try teaching them better!

[She crouches in front of the goat, watching it carefully. It's kinda cute in its own not-Cobalion way. It sucks the bottle with suck enthusiasm, it makes Bianca giggle bit. Aww.]

But houses have, like, lawns, right? They could stay there!
stoutland: (Cut)

noooooo

[personal profile] stoutland 2014-04-05 04:31 pm (UTC)(link)
[The baby goat is just that hungry, okay. If someone's going to offer it a bottle, you're damn right it's gonna eat like there's no tomorrow.]

I guess if you kept them in the backyard it would be possible. But I don't know that they're like Pokemon where they will usually stay put outside if their Trainer tells them to. Dogs, at least, aren't like that.

yeeeeees

[personal profile] futureprofessor 2014-04-05 05:21 pm (UTC)(link)
[Since the goat is so concentrated on sucking that bottle dry, Bianca will take the opportunity to try to pet it. Nothing wrong can go with that, right.]

Aaah, I did see the dogs! They're beautiful! They look a lot like Lillipup and Growlithe but at the same time, like, so different! I love how they come in lots of colors without being rare... [Fuck shinies, man.] Does anyone in your house have pets, Cheren?

[as long as she doesn't touch the bottle and take it away, baby goat is okay with being pet. When it's done, maybe then it'll want to play more.]

There were a few, yeah. I don't think Serperior knows what to make of them all, really. He's not sure how to act around them.

[personal profile] futureprofessor 2014-04-07 05:28 am (UTC)(link)
A-ah, right, you have Serperior with you...

[She's a bit envious of that. There's a pause while she thinks about her team and how much she misses them while keeping herself busy with petting the goat.

Suddenly she shakes her head, reminding herself to try and be strong, and keeps talking normally.]

Well, it can't be different from teaching them to play with a new member in your team, especially if it's a rare one! I mean, like, what did he do when you got Porygon?
stoutland: (Morning Sun)

[personal profile] stoutland 2014-04-08 03:20 am (UTC)(link)
[ONE DAY YOU MIGHT GET YOUR POKEMON BACK, TOO. For now, Bianca is free to spoil Serperior. He knows Bianca, he doesn't mind her babying him. Just don't tell anyone else.]

Porygon's a bit different, though. He's a man-made Pokemon, so it's not quite the same as a creature that looks like a Stoutland, but behaves differently.

[personal profile] futureprofessor 2014-04-09 03:17 am (UTC)(link)
[BUT WHEN THIS IS KILLING HER She's gonna spoil Serperior rotten and he'll regret giving her permission. Yeah.]

Chereeeen! You know what I meant! Serperior needs to learn about the new creature's behavior little by little! As if those dogs were, like, a baby Pokémon that you need to treat veeeeery carefully!
stoutland: (Default)

[personal profile] stoutland 2014-04-09 03:41 am (UTC)(link)
[If Serperior acts like more of a brat, that is totally Bianca's fault.]

Well, yes, but I think the dogs are also a bit frightened of him. I can't imagine them being used to anything even remotely like Serperior.

[personal profile] futureprofessor 2014-04-10 05:19 am (UTC)(link)
[Maybe Cheren needs some spoiling too, huh?]

Oh... that's a good point. Since they can't do much Serperior's power must look scary. Ah, but that only means we need to train the animals too! So they aren't scared of Pokémon anymore!

[See? Simple, really.]
stoutland: (Disable)

[personal profile] stoutland 2014-04-10 11:15 pm (UTC)(link)
[He needs more Pokemon.]

I don't know about that... Some of them don't seem all that receptive to training. There were more than a few dogs that didn't know what "sit" meant.

[personal profile] futureprofessor 2014-04-13 07:25 pm (UTC)(link)
[Well, yeah. But besides that.]

But if some did know, that means they can learn! Wouldn't it be, like, sooo interesting to see how training works with them?
stoutland: (Echoed Voice)

[personal profile] stoutland 2014-04-15 02:16 am (UTC)(link)
I doubt you train them the same way you train Pokemon, honestly. You don't battle with these animals, either.
