THEY TRYIN' TO CATCH ME RIDIN' DIRTY

So how does it work?
STEP 1 ► Post a comment with a character that's not in HH as if they're already in the setting; alternative version, post character who is in HH. Scenarios if you need 'em!
STEP 2 ► Tag around and get a feel for your characters, whether you're just voice testing or planning to actually app them in!
STEP 3 ► Post this all over your plurk and get people to join in on this jolly good fun. Don't forget: it's mandatory.
Copypasted, as usual.
saruhiko fushimi • k
He is here... Dying ever so slowly while having to watch this train wreck. With a click of his tongue, he finally says something though it might as we'll be a mutter. ]
If I wanted to suffer, I would have just gone to one of those group bonding exercises. [ NO ONE ASKED YOU TO BE HERE, but he can't get himself to leave yet. Go ahead call him a whiner. ]
no subject
She's close enough to catch Fushimi's comment, and she almost lets herself laugh at how she had more or less the same thought moments before. She has enough respect (hopefully) to turn to him with a slight cringe instead.]
It's not that bad. I mean, at least the costumes are nice, right? And the music, and... [yeah she's got nothing]
no subject
EITHER WAY, this play is merely going on and on. SLAY HIM WITH YOUR GREAVES. An exasperated sigh. ]
I don't think nice costumes and music make a play decent. [ Now that he thinks about it, why is he here again? All of this is getting on his nerves over nine thousand. ] Barely tolerable.
no subject
Well, if nothing else, you hafta give 'em credit for going up there in the first place. If it were me, I'd be way too embarrassed. [The thought almost makes her shudder. She did her bit of stageplay back in the culture festival, and even that was more than enough, thanks.]
no subject
Anyone would be embarrassed if they need to go through that. [ It looks like someone is going into a monologue--gross!! Someone talking about their devotion for this one person. Even if it's orated as if reading off script, he has super bitter feelings.
Looks like they're waiting for something to happen before the next scene happens. Someone forgot their cue. ] When is this going to end?
no subject
I do believe that I promised I would not make you do one of those again, didn't I? [ There's some fiddling with her glasses as she removes them and wipes them clean. Slow and methodically while she speaks. ] Welcome back.
no subject
Preeeetty sure he doesn't have amnesia. This can only get complicated!! Just the idea deserves a click of his tongue. Shoulders slumping a bit, he orates in quite the monotonous voice: ]
Sorry, I have no recollection of my previous stay. [ He has at least been able to look at the network beforehand to see that this has been a recurring thing. ] You have the wrong person.
[ Different version might as well be different person to him. ]
no subject
Ah, I see. I apologize for putting you on the spot, then. [ She knows just as much as he does, so she doesn't push it or deny anything. ] I suppose in a roundabout way you're correct. We worked together when you were here last.
[ She was his boss, actually. Though she does enjoy a bad joke and the occasional teasing, they were both awkward and dry and serious. They had gotten along well enough. ]
My name is Quistis Trepe. [ She extends her hand. ] I work at the Law Enforcement Unit.
no subject
Saruhiko Fushimi. [ It takes him like a second or two to actually take the hand and give her a reluctant handshake. how 2 b professional. Now that he thinks about it, a lot of important facilities are either: 1) ran by incompetent natives or 2) ran by imported residents. ] I'm surprised that this place even has law enforcement, let alone employees having time to watch a foul play.
no subject
A pleasure to make your acquaintance again. [ She was about to pull her hand away when he takes it. She doesn't really shake his so much as clasp his, just firmly enough and completely brief. It is a somewhat militaryesque gesture. ] Most civilized places where I come from have some form of law enforcement and from what I gather so do most other places. It shouldn't be too surprising. I also happen to be working night shifts this week. Would you like to know the rest of my schedule? I can tell you where I like to dine so you can accidentally run into me, if you'd like.
no subject
WOW. RUDE. At first he's really taken aback by what she starts saying after, but soon realizes that he's being jabbed at. Clicking his tongue, it's more than obviously that he's annoyed but won't be admitting or addressing it. ]
Unnecessary. It wouldn't be accidental at that point anyway. [ Staaahp. There's a very long pause, it might as well seem like he dropped the whole conversation entirely. ] Are there any openings?
i missed this somehow but it's okay, i'm not playing a stalker
[ See, Yata doesn't like this play either, but he's doing his best not to make any noise and unnecessary movements. Hearing someone whine irritates him. He's mocking his effort! He turns to the seat next to him to retort. ]
Shut up and watch. Guys who can afford to pay for their ticket can't complain!
[ Yata. Yata. It's Fushimi. ...nope, he hasn't noticed. ]
wow.............. 1/2
Whatever, can you stop being so loud? [ ALSO, ] No one paid for their ticket.
This play is free. [ Despite how his tone didn't change from being dull as hell, it feels like his words are sharper. ]

Sa-! [ Then he remembers they're supposed to be quiet. Right. That's hard, but he tries. ] Saruhiko? The fuck are you doing here? Why are you sitting next to me!? [ Suspicious! ]
—a-and I didn't get scammed... [ How much did he pay for this show again? It was a reasonable price. Probably. He was wondering why the line was short! ]
no subject
Right. Probably paid enough for a child's admission ticket. [ The line isn't the only thing that's short! It's obvious that Fushimi is trying to add fuel to Yata's fire!! He's trying to push as many buttons as he can to keep Yata's attention, uwoh. Please notice him. ]
no subject
I'm nineteen! [ A chorus comprised of everyone one to four seats away shushes him. He sheepishly sinks into his seat, but don't think he's letting Fushimi off the hook for even a second. ]
You know, I'm four months older than you! [ He remembers. ] I've been eating a lotta meat since I got here, too. And I had my birthday last July, so hah, I'm actually twenty. Take that, and show some respect!
[ This topic has gone on for far too long. Why does he even care? Because winning is important, no matter how shallow and petty the victory is. ]

Re: saruhiko fushimi • k
FISHIMI-KUN) and sits somewhere nearby him. ]Do you not like plays? [ Better not to call him by his name, he might not remember her. ]
no subject
I don't particularly like them. [ Then again, what does he even like? He dislikes are numerous otherwise, but he can't really name this as something on the list. You are a smart girl, Kobato. If he knew the sentiment, he might be grateful. Kind of. Not really. ] There would be better things to do.
[ But he is here. Super dumb. ]
no subject
Such as?
no subject
From a general perspective, one can get a head-start on their studies or their work just so they won't end up doing this for a living. [ Bad actors... But yeah!! He basically describes everything he doesn't have right now. Super duper NEET as of this moment. ]
Chores included. [ His life lacks... fun. ]
no subject
And the girl in that particular seat has a marble held up to her eye while gazing in Fushimi's direction. ]
no subject
It's her. Gritting his teeth behind his frown, just... awkward guilt trips about the past and how he felt responsible for what happened. Even if everything is okay, it still is a sore spot! Anyway, he'll only give her a glance before turning his attention back to the dumb play. ]
They let you come here by yourself? [ Unimpressed. ]
no subject
...They're not here anymore.
[ Her response, slightly delayed, comes after she tries to figure which 'they' he means, but in the end -- Mikoto and Tatara have gone, just as her 'parents' have. Though Izumo was still here, he'd disappeared before too.
And though she tries, there's a slight waver in her voice when she answers. ]
no subject
He faintly remembers seeing Kusanagi's name on the list of contacts, but it's obvious he just kept scrolling to find Yata's. Back on topic, h-how to deal with children. ]
There's still some of them here. [ Even if it proves to be temporary stay. ] If you didn't tell them, they might worry their heads off.
[ At least he thinks Misaki would. Loud, obnoxious, very very annoying when in peril. ]
