In case you did not know, it seems to be, according to my well-founded and hard sought after research on things like this using field work on various marketplaces, that you can tell the economic temperature of an area quite easily based on the price of food being distributed.

Thus you can assume that this is a place of sure, non-mediocre poverty! Enough to bring a tear to a man's eye!

Or this shop-owner bought too many cantaloupes and must sell them cheaply, and even that is a sad prospect.

Trust me, it's perfectly okay. Looking at this selection, I'm sure they don't have a million anyway. But if you would like them, I'd search for them.

But if I may, let me find a better melon for you. I'm sure a melon for fifty cents isn't worthy of a pallet like yours. Though I'm not sure if it's possible to find a fruit that could truly be worthy of your impeccable taste.

[Come to think of it, this is her first time using proper money in the first place... and she usually gathers her own ingredients. The whole shopping thing is still somewhat overwhelming (which has absolutely nothing to do with Tamaki adding to the stress whatsoever)]

I wouldn't go that far... [She likes anything as long as it tastes good / looks good / someone tells her it's good, probably.] Do they have other melons on sale here, though? It might be a good idea to check them out before I make any decisions.
