[BUT ANYWAY. he steps closer to Rosalia, turning to look at the shelf of cereals in front of them. Nothing he can recognize, nope. Though some of them just look way too artificial and bright. Jokes cereal with the rabbit on the box, lucky tokens with the short green man, all cereals that look just fake and nothing like what he knows.]

I wasn't used to these before coming here, either. I like this kind, though. [he gestures toward whatever generic sort of honey nut cheerios they have there]

There are. I don't know if it's because people requested so many choices or the Landlord thought that's what we want, but I guess it doesn't matter when it comes down to it.

I kind of like having so many options to choose from, to be honest. [But to follow up on that:]

Um...I gotta get some stuff for dinner. Oh, and I need to get some milk too!

Well, milk won't have as many options, I think. [not counting soy milk and almond milk and all those other not-cow milk...]

[He nods. He's had to become somewhat familiar with the vegetables offered here, to mimic the food Serperior was used to.]

Yeah. It's on the other side of the store. [although, if variety is confusing for her--]

They have a lot of different vegetables here, though. Some of them I've never heard of.

[Oh boy. Still, vegetables are an important part of any meal. Can't just leave them!]

I don't know if it's this place or my world, but while there are fruits and vegetables that look familiar, they have different names here.

Different names? Like what?

[stoutland]

[You say "tomayto," I say "tomahto." Or in this case, Tamato Berries.]

Well, for one, there are fruits here called "bananas" and "strawberries," and while we have things that look like those, we call them "Nanab Berries" and "Rawst Berries." They're also a bit smaller, I think.

Like regular berries?

[Huhhh. That's cute, actually!]

Wow! I know what bananas and strawberries are already...do they taste the same?

[stoutland]

Not quite. The texture is the same, but strawberries are sweeter than Rawst Berries. Bananas are also a lot softer than Nanab Berries are, but the taste is similar there.
